Really good if you don't like very sweet cookies. If you like it sweeter, just add sweet icing. Very good.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2006
This is a good recipe. I added frozen raspberries instead of the raisin and added a little more flour and it turned out great. I'll be trying it with all kinds of different things.

Jam Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
Really good and very tasty. I added 1/2tsp almond extract and added the jam before baking. Everyone really liked them and they dissapeared very quickly. I also took the advice from one of the reviews to use the top of the lip balm to make the hole, I dipped in flour before and it worked very well. I will definately make this again.

Very good cookie. I added 1cup of chocolate chips because we love chocolate here. I also didn't add the nuts. I also ued a tbsp to make them all even and under baked them as advised from previous reviews, very soft when coming out of the oven but they firm up a little after sitting for a little. VERY GOOD!!!

Delicious Apple Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
It was very simple to do and I had everything on hand. I didn't add the cinnamon and only added a little brown sugar as I don't like it to sweet. I also put it in the food processor as I don't like it chunky. All in all a good recipe and both my daughter and I enjoyed it. Will make this again for sure.

Sweet Potato Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
I followed the recipe and I didn't really like that much. I found it tasted to much like pumpkin pie. Not quite what I was looking for. The filling was a little chunky and I had to cook it longer then what was recomended and it still came out too mooshy. A good recipe if your looking for something like a pumpkin pie with a little twist though.

Greek Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This was a good recipe and even my 2yr old daughter enjoyed it. I forgot to add the dill weed though and found it a little dry. I would add a greek dressing next time just so its not as dry, still very yummy.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This is a very good base recipe. I added an extra 1/2 cup of milk as adviced from previous posts. I also added fresh garlic, dill weed, frozen peas and corn. I used 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of broccoli. I will definately make this again but next time I will use already cooked chicken and shred it instead of using chunks, it will cut cook time alot and chicken won't be as dry, I will also add a little more milk, 3/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup. Very good though.

Strawberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
This is a very good recipe. I did have to use a smaller pan because I didn't have enough crust for the bottom. I will deffinately make this again but with these changes, 1.5 cups flour, 1.5 cups oats, 2/3 cup sugar, 2/3 cup butter, didn't use salt because butter is salted. This will give me more crust as it was very delicate. I also used raspberry jam and it was very yummy. I'll try appricot next time just for a change. Very good though. :)

Lemon Square Bars

I liked these. I accidently put a little to much lemon juice but they still turned out great. Wasn't very fond of the crust though. They freeze well and taste even better after being frozen. Will make again.

Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
YUMMY!!!!! This was a very basic recipe and I had my doubts at first but it turned out great. As someone posted I used 6 fresh peaches and boiled them to get the skin off. I also added raspberries and sprinkled the top with white and brown sugar. Very delish. I ate all up in a few days. Definately will make this again.****************************************************************************made this again but ran out of sugar so I figured honey would be the same I just added it to taste so not sure how much I added but was prob about 1/2 cup, it did not turn out at all, the peaches stayed on top and the bottom burned but the center was still slimmy, I would strongly suggest NOT using honey, sadly I will have to through it out and start again once I get some sugar and more fresh peaches
