Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
Made the alfredo sauce according to recipe and it came out perfect. However, I would omit the salt altogether. Other than that, it was a success! Thank you.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I used 7 large Granny Smith apples, but I think 6 would have been ok. I also added a dash of allspice and vanilla to the sauce. I poured the sauce over the apples and brushed the crust with egg whites. Thank you, Grandma Ople! The recipe was simple and I will make it again and again.

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: May 15, 2007
I breaded and fried chicken cutlets and set aside. I made the sauce and left out the green onion, rice vinegar and ginger. I did add more orange juice. I poured the sauce over the chicken and garnished with orange slices. Awesome! Thank you.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I left out the steak sauce and used saltine crackers instead of Ritz. I've never used onion soup mix in a meatloaf and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It made all the difference. Loved it. Thank you.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
I made this side dish for a dinner party I had last night. Not many people ate it, but I'll have to assume they didn't like sweet potatoes. I don't particularly like sweet potatoes either, but I had to try it because of the reviews. It was wonderful. Thank you. I will make this again, especially with the holidays coming up.

This was my first time making peach pie and me and my fiance loved it. It was his request and he said it was perfect. This was easy and I will make it again. Thank you. PS: I left the pie in the oven for 10 minutes with the oven shut off.

I made a 3.5 lb pot roast with this recipe and it came out great. I also used beef broth and reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup. I bet the leftovers will taste awesome too! Thank you.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
REVISED: I made this fudge the other day without key ingredients... stuck in a snow storm and I thought it would be ok. Wrong. I had to throw it out. I'm stuck in another snow storm and made it as directed - MUCH BETTER. Thank you so much!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
I wasn't sure what a snickerdoodle cookie tasted like before I made them, but now I realize it's just a butter cookie with cinnamon/sugar sprinkled on top. The cookies came out perfect and the dough was very easy to work with. I will make again. Thank you.

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
Made the fruit salsa & it tastes awesome, although the apricot preserves was hard to mix in (kinda stuck together) I bought Stacy's Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips to serve w/ salsa. Yummm... Thank you.

I've already posted my review for this soup and gave it 5 stars, but I had to write this over again... I went to Panera tonight for dinner and got the baked potato soup. It sucked! THIS RECIPE BLOWS IT AWAY. RUN TO YOUR KITCHEN AND MAKE THIS SOUP...

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
I made these last night and everyone loved them. They're moist rather than juicy & I think it's the evaporated milk that helps. It was difficult cooking them, but they didn't fall apart. (also, they looked a little charred, but turned out fine) The burgers had plenty of flavor & I would make again. P.S. these burgers taste similar to a recipe I had while on the Atkins diet.

The changes I made: used whole wheat flour, seasoned whole wheat breadcrumbs, skim milk, no baking powder, and baked with Pam Cooking spray. I baked for 30 minutes on 400 and the coating is crispy. Awesome. will make again. Thank you.
