Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
I made this side dish for a dinner party I had last night. Not many people ate it, but I'll have to assume they didn't like sweet potatoes. I don't particularly like sweet potatoes either, but I had to try it because of the reviews. It was wonderful. Thank you. I will make this again, especially with the holidays coming up.

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2006
I simplified this recipe and it still tastes great. I breaded the chicken breasts and filled it with one slice of cheese, thin pieces of apple and pepperidge farm stuffing. I rolled the chicken and put it in a baking pan with chicken broth. (add seasonings to chicken) Baked in oven for 35-45 minutes. Thank you.

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
I melted the butter, garlic and herbs, but didn't wait until it hardened in the fridge. I just let it cool off and then spread the (liquid) butter onto the dough. I also used red onion, omitted the cilantro and sprinkled with fresh basil. Everyone loved it. Thank you.

This recipe is almost exactly the same as the Asiago Sun Dried Tomato Pasta on the site. Anyhow, I'm giving it 5 stars. Thanks.

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Looks great and tastes even better. I made two small changes. I browned the chicken first and added a little sherry to the cream sauce. Thank you.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
I've never eaten a sloppy joe before, but figured I'd give this a try. The sugar/hamburger/onion taste kind of freaked me out. Four hours later, I just got sick. Literally.

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
I marinated rib eye steaks for 4 hours and then grilled. It was good, but considering the rave reviews, I thought I was going to jump for joy. As I said in another review, I'll make the marinade again, but if I do not have ingredients on hand, I'll stick with italian dressing. Thank you.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
Marinated chicken for 4 hours today. Although it was good, I thought it might taste a little better considering the rave reviews. Yes, I will use this marinade again, but if I didn't have the ingredients on hand, I'd stick to italian dressing.

Chicken Tequila Fettuccini

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
A colorful dish, but I didn't care for the taste of the tequila-lime sauce; However, my customers did like it and requested that I make this again. (that's what really matters) Thank you.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
It tasted like plain, old meatloaf with a brown sugar glaze. I didn't particularly care for it, but my dog licked the plate clean. Thanks. I'll use my tried and true recipe.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
Made these for a party I was hosting last night and they were not a hit. They looked great and tasted ok, but no one ate more than one and I had a whole plate full of left overs. I will not make these again.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
Made the cookies at 6 AM this morning for a party I'm having tonight (kids will be here) Although they came out perfect, something seems to be missing. It could just be me, I'm a cook (by trade) not a baker. Thank you.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
Made the fruit salsa & it tastes awesome, although the apricot preserves was hard to mix in (kinda stuck together) I bought Stacy's Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips to serve w/ salsa. Yummm... Thank you.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
Initially I made this cake for myself because it got outstanding reviews, but I only gave it two stars because I didn't think it was all that. I made it again for a party I was hosting this evening and it was unbelievable! I must have done something wrong the first time because it was a hit. Thank you for the recipe and I'm glad I tried the recipe for a second time. I'll definitely make this again.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I don't usually cook pork chops this way, but I figured I'd give it a try. The pork chops had no taste and got tough; the only thing that saved this recipe was the cream of mushroom soup.

Brown Sugar Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2005
I had high hopes for this recipe since just about everything I've made from this website has been awesome, but I didn't like these pork chops. Sorry. I'll look for another recipe on here. P.S. The cooking time seems to be way off; my kitchen smelled like burnt soy sauce after 25 minutes... I even greased the pan. GO PATRIOTS!

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Made this soup for my customers today. I left out the almonds and added more broth. (it was getting too thick without the extra broth) It was perfect. One customer said, "oh wow, this is good." Thank you.
