The Best Chocolate Cake You Ever Ate

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
This is the exact same recipe that can be found on another website/magazine. I reduced the cinnamon and don't think it tasted enough like chocolate. I used the recipe for buttercream frosting on this website and it was amazing! I still think I'm getting better results with altering or adding to a box mix.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
I used Brummel & Brown low fat butter and changed nothing else. The cookies are AWESOME! They are soft, chewy, and have a great peanut butter flavor. For the first time ever, not one of my cookies burned. Thank you. I will make again.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
I made this cake again and the only change I made was using melted butter instead of oil. I did notice the difference between a home made chocolate cake vs boxed, but I don't know if it's worth the effort. Everyone thought it was just average.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
Make as directed and then microwave a can of frosting in the microwave. Drizzle cake with frosting. This cake truly tastes better the day after you make it. Thank you... never been disappointed with this recipe.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
REVISED: I ate some of these cookies for breakfast and they were awesome. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that review last night. The cookies are soft in the middle, crispy around the edges. They aren't too sugary and they have a hint of vanilla. YES, I'll be making these again.

I used Montreal Steak seasoning by McCormick and Pam Olive Oil Cooking Spray. It was all I had. Very good and will make again.

JENNIE-O's Best Ever Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I made this turkey loaf today, but I left out the butter and used Ritz Crackers. I also added taco seasoning, scallions, and chopped bell pepper. It was dry, but ok. I would make this again, but I'm in no rush to make it again. Thank you.

Best Ever Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I made this recipe with ground turkey, left out the butter and cheese. It was ok, but I'm sure it tastes better as written. I never would have thought to use taco seasoning... so thank you.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
The dough was easy to work with and they are soft, but they have no taste at all. I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla, but it didn't help.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
I was disappointed in these cookies and I'm glad I'm giving them away. They are soft and chewy, but the taste just doesn't do it for me. They taste overly sweet and artificial. I'll stick to another recipe I found on this site.

Sauteed Apples

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Holy cow! These apples are awesome. I made this for one and didn't measure anything. I tried to only use a tiny bit of butter. I didn't have flour or cornstarch, but it still came out great. I'll definitely make this again because it's quick, simple, and much lower in fat and calories than apple crisp or apple pie. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Tomato, Corn and Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
I've been trying to broaden my horizons with food and thought I'd like this recipe because of the ingredients. Oh dear God is it good! I used grape tomatoes, scallions, and an orange bell pepper. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is so much better than any of the already made jar stuff. Go Patriots! 17-0

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
I made two batches of stuffing, one crab meat and one minced clams. I used almost all of the juice and thought it tasted a tiny bit too salty. I added more bread crumbs to the mixture, used green onion and red bell pepper. I loved them and so did my guests. Thank you. I will definitely make these again.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
I wasn't sure what a snickerdoodle cookie tasted like before I made them, but now I realize it's just a butter cookie with cinnamon/sugar sprinkled on top. The cookies came out perfect and the dough was very easy to work with. I will make again. Thank you.

I would give it 5 stars for the taste, but they are very flat and a lot of them burned. Perhaps I did something wrong? Thank you.
