Emily's Famous Banana Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
These muffins r excellent w/just a couple of the reviewers recommendations...i have made these twice.the 1st time, I added 1/2 c of sour cream to make more moist. 2nd time, I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1 cup white flour, I subbed 1 quarter cup of the oil for unsweetened applesauce, added 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 half cup chopped walnuts. no sour cream the second time and texture was perfect! it's a bit too much sugar I think next time I will cut it in half. Will make again & again.

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
these were very dry & needed 2 be dipped in marinara. even then, they were bland & got cold very quickly, so guests of party were not impressed :( would make differently next time

Seven Layer Dip II

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
This was delicious & got a lot of compliments! I only made a few changes due to what I had on hand & wanted to make it a little healthier...I didn't have fresh cilantro/green onions, but that would've tasted great. 1 whole pkg of taco seasoning would've been too much. i used 1/2. Great w/lime flavored tortilla chips :)

Rotisserie Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
This was just ok for me. My husband liked it, but I didn't think it was worth all the money and time it took to make it. Store bought is much better and cheaper by far! All flavor was in the skin-which i don't eat. Meat was bland and I had to dip it in bbq sauce.

Biscuit Pizza Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
Quick & easy! I use flaky Grands biscuits. Add whatever toppings you like and it's kid friendly, too. I add turkey pepperoni close to the end (otherwise it burns), cook in a round casserole & cut into pizza-like slices. It has a sweet taste-unlike regular pizza crust. My husband didn't like that, but my 2-yr-old and I just love it! Thank you!!!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
I love onions and these potatoes are tasty! Excellent taste for such an easy process! Make sure you use enough potatoes or use less of the packet or they will be too salty.

Butterfinger Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
If you like peanut butter cookies, you will LOVE these! I took others suggestion and added 1/4 tsp baking soda and chill the dough for stand-up cookies. The only reason I didn't rate this recipe higher is because when you cook the butterfingers, they become tacky and the cookies lose their "softness". Great base pb cookie! I will just add a different candy next time.

Colorado-spent several years trying to make chocolate chip cookies that didn't go flat. This is the recipe! Thick and tasty! Great standby, will make again. May add more vanilla next time for more flavor. Great dunking cookies!

Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
The taste was great! A little different than that of a storebought pot roast spice packet (that i normally use). My picky husband loved it and it was mild enough for my 18 month old. The leftovers were very convenient! *Only variation-after searing, i cooked mine in the slow cooker and made gravy from the stock. Will make again.
