Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
WOW! Amazing! I added 1/2 t nutmeg, used nearly the whole can of pumpkin. For the filling i used 8oz cream cheese and 1 t. vanilla. A cookie scoop works perfect to make the "pies" even. I will for sure make these for xmas!!

Crispy Rice Candy

Very fun, good recipe. I used half white choc and half almond bark to equal about one lb. I think 2 lbs would be too much.

Avocado Feta Salsa

I used a jumbo avocado and thought it was the perfect amount. I used dry seasoning because that was all i had. I would not change a thing! I serve it with Wheat Thin Multigrain Toasted Chips. YUM!

Apple Pumpkin Muffins

Deliciously different! I made exactly as written. I would like to try it will wheat flour and applesauce the next time i make them. Perfect recipe to use up leftover pumpkin. I have a butternut squash to use up and i plan to substitute it with the pumpkin in the recipe. I'm sure it will taste just as good!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
SO GOOD! I added a few sprinkles of pumpkin pie spice(just cuz). They are amazing. They are not too sweet at all. I worried they might taste more like dessert but with just a small amount of sugar they were PERFECT! Everyone loved them!

This was alright but nothing special. I doubled the filling. I would make again if i needed to use up zucchini but would not go out of my way to buy the stuff to make it.

Shrimpcargot

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I doubled the mushroom, kept the amount of garlic butter the same, chopped the shrimp and added a lot more cheese. Also broiled for a few mins to brown the top. I plan to make again and cut down on some of the fat and try out different cheeses.

Rhubarb Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
I used what i had on hand, so i replaced the yellow cake mix with white and used cran-rasp jello. i also cut the sugar in half and it was still super sweet. I will try it without the sugar next time. Great recipe! It is so simple!

Very good but very very sweet. The peanut butter layer was a pain to spread. I would probably make again if i had the stuff on hand.

Amazing! Yum. This is what i changed: 2 T of milk, 1 1/2 t vanilla, 3 heaping T of cocoa, AND about 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Also used Jumbo eggs for more moisture. My bf and i could sit and eat the whole pan while they are warm.

Absolutely AWESOME! I used about half the amount of garlic, other than that i did not change anything. My whole family LOVED it! Oh and i used a whole pound of uncooked shrimp and just cooked it a few mins longer. Fabulous!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
These were pretty good. I added crushed wheat Town House crackers and a little more bread crumbs to make them thicker and easier to work with. I used 2 eggs. Next time i will flatten them out more so they are not so mushy in the middle.

Portobello Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Very good! I marinated them in the frig for about an hour. I added onions cut into rings and marinated them as well. I put the onions in the oven sooner because they take longer. I also added a little bit of rosemary. My only complaint is they are quite greasy. Excellent flavor. I will make again with less oil. Thanks for the recipe!
