Apple Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
I thought this was good but nothing special. It was kinda boring actually. I added 1/4c sugar and 1/2t cinnamon to the crust like others suggested. I felt it was lacking something and had too much crust. Maybe it gets better as it sits but not totally impressed with what i have tried so far.

Linda's Monster Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
i've made these a few times. They always turn out flat. Flavor is just ok. I have a much better monster cookie recipe from browneyedbaker!!!. Those are the BEST cookies i have EVER had. Thick and chewy, just how you want a cookie to be.

Double Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
OMG! I am not a big fan of choc sprinkles but had some to use up. I LOVE this recipe! I cut it in half but made no other changes. I would like them to be a little thicker but the flavor and texture was amazing-oh i did not grind up the oats!

First time making spaghetti squash. It was really good! I used this cooking technique but did not use any butter, just salt and brown sugar. Yum!

Irish Cream Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Great flavor and texture. I used Pillsbury Fudge Brownie mix. I did not change the recipe at all, but did not cook for 30 mins. Mine were done closer to 20 mins. I don't get the reviews saying they had runny frosting. Make sure the brownies are cool when you frost them, add a tablespoon of powered sugar at a time to thicken if needed and make sure to boil to irish cream mixture. I microwaved for several minutes and let it boil for a bit. Make sure not to boil too long through or you will end up with irish cream rock candy! Thanks for the great recipe!

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Mmm delicious! I made a healthier revision with egg beaters. BAKED at 400 for 15 mins then turned them and baked them for another 10 mins or so. I used italian bread crumbs, skipped the butter and the flour and oil of course. I will be making these a lot!

Texas Caviar I

Very Good. Made with fat free zesty italian dressing. I do like the olive oil and sugar version of this recipe better but this is much healthier and only 2 WW points for 1/2 cup portion! (with no-fat dressing)

Cottage Cheese Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
Love it! I Dont use any oil to cut down on fat and also use only 1/2 cup nuts to cut fat and calories. 2 cups of cereal works better for me.(I use Special K). I also added onions and peppers for more flavor. I will play with spices next time i make it. Italian seasoning with garlic salt would be great and top it with ketchup, brown sugar and worchestershire sauce.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Amazing! I added portabellos roasted with balsamic vinegar and seasoning. And also added capers to the mayo(i always use miracle whip light instead). The bread can be sliced in half easily instead of this being open faced.
