Chocolate Crinkles II
Loved this recipe, though I didn't present them to friends as "cookies" but as "two-bite brownies" because the consistency suggested to me that's how they would be best received. If you put this in your mouth expecting a cookie taste you might be disappointed, but if you are expecting a fudge brownie you will die of joy. A tip: I happened to have run out of powdered sugar, but I used an old housewives substitution of 1 cup regular sugar run in a blender with 1 tbsp cornstarch to make my own. Another tip: I chilled the batter/dough overnight, instead of just four hours, before scooping it with a spoon into the powdered sugar. That way, it handled just fine.
