Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
This crust is amazing! The only thing I changed was that I did 1 cup of butter and 3/4 C shortening to add more buttery flavor. It was a big hit! I usually don't like pie crust, but I could eat this all day!

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Very good! My husband hates homemade pizza crust and he loved this! I added 1 tsp of garlic powder to it because we love garlic, and followed the suggestion of only using one egg. This made it a thin crust, but tasted amazing. I might try 2 eggs next time because of my own curiousity, but I will definitely make this again and again.

Fabulous Fajitas

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
I've been making this recipe all the time since i found it on here a few years ago. It immediatly became our house favorite. My husband always requests it for special occasions and it's sooo easy I don't argue. I dice the peppers and onion and don't put mushrooms because my family doesn't like them. I also add a little water to activate the dressing mix. I've let it slow cook on the stove for 30 minutes before as well. This makes the chicken really moist. We sprinkle a little cheese on top and eat it up! There's never left overs.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
I made this on a cold day and it really hit the spot. I think next time I'd rather use left over ham instead of pre-cooked from the store. The ham we bought didn't give a lot of flavor. I'm thinking a great christmas ham leftover recipe. I also added carrots because we love them in this house. It was so yummy and even better the second day! I also recommend red potatoes...they have great flavor and I left the peel on. We will definitely make this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Oh my gosh this was so yummy! Not bland at all for us. I used 1/2 cube of butter and added an 1/8 cup of water at first, and only used half the amount of cream cheese. It was so delicious over egg noodles. During the first 5 hours though my small little townhome smelled so strong I had to open windows! Don't get me wrong, it smelled great, just hurt my nose a bit. If you have a sensitive nose you might want to make sure you have good ventilation. I am definitely making this again.

Chicken Sopa

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
This was really good. Had great flavor. I substituted corn shells for jalepeno cheddar flour shells and next time I'm not going to put in the chicken broth. It turned out a little too runny. We might also try rice with it next time. This tasted amazing though. I will definatly make it again!
