About this Cook
I am a novice baker who loves chocolate and cheese. (or rather anything unhealthy and fattening). I am a simple girl who finds pure pleasure in baking in a complicated world. See my cooking and baking adventure at novice-baker.blogspot.com!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, of course.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't know. We just started a new family, so we haven't really biuld a cooking tradition yet. While I was younger, the best cook in the family cooks everything. Who can it be other than my mum!
My cooking triumphs
parmesan baked salmon. This is the most delicious salmon I have ever tasted. and best of all, I made this dish myself.
My cooking tragedies
I cooked lasagna followed one of the recipes here but didn't have enough sauce. The top layer turned out very dry and I have no choice but to discard it.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets
it was ok, but a bit too vinegar-y for our taste. probably won't repeat.

Baked Potato Soup I
This is very good and creamy! A bit too thick for my taste though. I will add some water next time and cut down on the bacon.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
very nice! I didn't care for ginger, so omitted that. put ketchup and brown sugar on top and bottom of loaf pan. Very tasty.
