Oatmeal Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
Wow, this turned out good. It took a lot longer to bake than the recipe said (mine took about 50 minutes), but maybe that was because I didn't do the glaze on top with the broiler. I also forgot to add the cinnamon, and maybe that would've added a bit more zing to the flavor, but I still thought the recipe was great. Just what I needed, having very little ingredients in the house as I did.

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
I made this for my boyfriend and it turned out great. My only change was that I only had a 15oz package of ricotta, but that was enough.

Easy Chicken Korma

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
I think this would've been a lot better if you had said that the chutney you were using was sweet chutney. In any case, we found this to have a bitter after taste. If we make this again, I don't think we'll use the hot chutney that we used.

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2007
Very good. I put a bit of chili paste in it and that made it taste great. Also used corn starch like another review said and that made the sauce really stick to the beef.

Easy Fettucine Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
Not bad. Hit the spot, though it did couagulate a bit from the cheese. I miss the real stuff, but for a quick, less fattening fix, this is it.

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was simple enough and the orange wasn't over powering.

Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2006
I enjoyed this a lot. My boyfriend decided to put a sweet potato in instead of a regular potato, so the potato didn't really taste so good (sweet and spicy at the same time). However, the only thing I was surprised about was the lack of sauce. I was expecting a lot of sauce for the chicken and vegetables to simmer in, but that didn't happen. However, everything else turned out great.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2006
I was told by many that this frosting tasted like the frosting Cinnabon puts on their buns.

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

Reviewed: May 7, 2006
I think that it needed more paprika, but it was still awesome. I liked the way the onions and mushroom's complimented the dish and though fattening, the butter sauce really gave the chicken flavor. Thanks for the recipe.

My boyfriend decided to make this for me in his crockpot. It was the first time I'd ever had chili and now I'm hooked. This was so good and I look forward to making it again and again. Thanks!

Excellent! I also used ramen noodles and though quite salty, it turned out really good. My boyfriend enjoyed it and he's really picky about chinese food. Thanks for the recipe.

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
Awesome and simple. The banana's weren't mashed all the way because I don't have a masher and just used a spoon, but it came out nice and moist like my mother makes. It was a very good treat.

Simple Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2006
Despite reviews, this turned out a lot better than I thought. I always add cinnamon and vanilla to my pancakes, so they tasted just my style. Granted, they were not very thick, but that was ok. The only problem I had was the softened butter. I used I can't believe it's not butter and it was all chunky in my batter. I didn't see the point of the softened butter other than to make it more fattening. Other than that, it was a good recipe.

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
Amazing! I loved it and so did my boyfriend. I would suggest sautaing the sautéing the onions with the spinach just because it gives it more flavor, but otherwise, excellent.

Stir-Fry Pork with Ginger

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
I enjoyed this recipe, but I think it needed more ginger. I ommited the salt because soy sauce has enough salt as it is. I made this and put it with bok choy and snow peas as a stir fry and it came out pretty good. I cut it by at least half. Otherwise, not bad.
