About this Cook
I'm a Mom of three who loves to write, take pictures, and bake. I love trying new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I really like recipes that allow a lot of room for changes-such as meatloaf or spaghetti. My absolute favorite thing to eat is bbq ribs-esp. my own recipe for triple threat ribs.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking cookies with my Mom and my brothers in the kitchen-back when it was okay to lick the spoon and eat the batter!
My cooking triumphs
When I made up a great recipe for a brine/rub/and bbq sauce for my own bbq ribs. They were a HUGE hit.
My cooking tragedies
When I tried to make chicken cordon bleu, but didn't pound the meat flat enough and so I had guests waiting an extra hour to eat.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler
OH MY GOSH! This was sooo delicious!! After it was just baked and still hot we topped with whipped cream and had a side of vanilla frozen yogurt and it was soooo good! I DON'T like peaches but I loved this cobbler! Right out of the oven it was sweet and tasty. After sitting for a few hours my third helping was super sugary-I guess letting it sit for a while after sweetens it up even more. I prefer it straight out of the oven but still loved it when it was super sugary sweet as well. The only downside is that peach cobbler goes fast in a family of 5 and I need to double this recipe next time. Also the crust (which was super delicious) recipe needs to be doubled to cover the entire pie generously. I waited to put the cinnamon and sugar topping on until 10 minutes before it was done. I also doubled the cinnamon sugar topping so that it would be plenty to cover. Make this recipe-it's DELISH!!!!!!!!!

Stuffed Flounder
WOW! This recipe was absolutely delicious!! The only difference from actual recipe was that I used filets because that was what I had. I didn't top a filet with another I just topped the filet with the stuffing and baked. Even my kids who normally dislike fish, they don't even care for fish sticks, LOVED this! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!
