About this Cook
I am a mother of a beautiful little girl born in 2004. I was a Manager at a group home with 3 boys who have mental illness and developmental disabilities, which I did for 13 years. I am in love with an AMAZING man, who shares his likes, dislikes and hobbies with me. I am the luckiest women on earth to be blessed with Raena, to have James in my life and a family that loves and supports me no matter what my flaws are! I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook simple things. I really like 30 minutes meals. We bought a BBQ grill and that is a lot of fun. I haven't BBQed in years so I am learning it all over.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I haven't had one yet.
My cooking triumphs
Making Lasagna for the first time. And it turned out REALLY GOOD!!!
My cooking tragedies
I am not good at baking foods so when I can cook up some really good chicken in the oven I have done my job.

Peanut Butter Banana Melties
I am not a big peanut butter fan so I made mine with double chocolate and my husbands with the chunky peanut butter and chocolate. I grilled them and put into a bowl with a few scoops of French Vanilla Ice Cream on top. WOW I have to say it was fabulous. Warm and cold all in the same bite. MMMMMMMM GOOD!!!!

The Best Barbequed Chicken Ever
I was very unsure at first. The smell was not appealing. But I figured I would try it anyways. I let is sit overnight (24 hours). We grilled the chicken and it did burn. But even burnt a little the chicken was still juicy and tasted SO GOOD. I was very impressed. But the way I knew it was a hit is that even my Cat wanted it. Sometimes but very rarely will he want or even eat our food. But that chicken he was begging for he ate a whole piece all on his own.
