Banana Split Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
These turned out all right, but a little soggy. I'm not sure if it was the recipe or something i did when i made them, but they weren't my favorite ever.

Fruit Fizzies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
Turned out pretty good, although you can make pretty much the same thing by just putting together seltzer and orange or grape juice. I used 3/4 cups of juice and 1/4 cup of water just like JWONG, but i only put in 1/4 tsp of baking soda. The fizziness was sooo cool. :)

Hot Chocolate - South American Style

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
wow. that's WILD!!! i actually like it a lot! i think i might have put in a little too much chili powder, and i used green pepper instead of red, but it was still great for a cold day. Yum. The only thing i wonder about is if the pepper is actually needed. It just seems like kind of a waste if you cut up a whole pepper and then throw it away. Regardless, the hot chocolate was great (to my taste anyways) and i'm planning to make it again.

Easy Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2005
5 stars, 10 stars, 50 stars!!! This was AMAZING!!! I made it for my birthday party. I am one of the slowest cooks in the world and it only took me 30 minutes to get it in the freezer. It turned out great regardless of the fact that it was melting when i was making it. The only subsitutuion i used was whipped cream from a can instead of whipping cream or whatever you were supposed to use. It is true that this recipe calls for more than 16 bars (I used 24 and still had some room leftover) but that doesn't matter cuz it tastes SO good! Thank you for this recipe. :)

Cheddar Pennies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2006
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these were so good! true, it was difficult to get the dough to work, but i just kept adding milk until it was ok. you don't even have to roll them into logs, you can just flatten them. wow, i'm definately making these again, and i'm making a double batch!

Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
I thought that this was really good! I cut down the baking powder to two tablespoons and didn't taste it at all. I also used butter instead of shortening. The cake did fall apart a little when i cut it (which is why it gets four stars instead of five) but it still tasted really good!

Peanut Butter Marshmallow Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2006
These were ok. I added chocolate chips, cuz i'm a chocoholic. You could cut down on the butter a bit. They just didn't have enough flavor. However i also might not have cooked them for long enough.

Zucchini Bread III

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
My whole family loved this. I did substitute applesauce for some of the oil. It's great to be able to pig out on this bread and still know that it's healthy.

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
My brother loved these, I loved them, my dad liked them, and my mom, who doesn't even like coconut, ate quite a few. Of course, these are extremely fatty, but who cares? They taste soo good. I like them with normal chocolate chips even better than the white ones. Also, beware that unless you make really big cookies, you'll have about sixty of these, which is good, cuz they're amazing.

These were yummy. They were a little tough to get to stick together before baking them, but they taste really good. Perfect for a fall day.

Apple Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
these were good. for some reason my brother didn't like them, but i thought they were really yummy. i did put in some applesauce instead of shortening, and cut back on the sugar a tiny bit. i think that white chocolate chips would make a wonderful addition.

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
These were yummy. They are heavy and filling, but that's because they're whole wheat. I love eating pancakes that are healthy for me!

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
yum yum yum i loved these. i put in some cinnamon and nutmeg but otherwise left it the same. they are tough to get out of the muffin pan, but i didn't use paper liners, and they were still warm when i was removing them, so maybe that's why. also, if you prefer you probably don't need the full amount of brown sugar. they were sweet. but i like sweet =)

Pumpkin Yeast Bread

I thought this was very good. Beware, it is acutally a bread, not cakey like banana or zuchinni bread. It's delicious when warm.

Yum, I loved this! I used stale pumkin yeast bread from this site, which tasted good. I also added a bit of nutmeg and used only three eggs. I loved it!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2007
This was very good. Although it does taste good on salad, it really is more of a chicken dipping sauce, not a dressing. However, I would reccommend it.
