French Bread

This is an crowd-pleasing dip for sure! There is never any left, and you will need to be prepared to give out the recipe! I prefer to use blue cheese over ranch, the results are the an extra "yum" factor!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Very easy to make (dare I say fail proof?), but VERY sweet as well. The brown sugar is the star here, not the peanut butter, so I don't know that this is the recipe for me.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Delicious! I like to roll my dough into balls, place them in eggwash and then in finely chopped walnuts prior to baking. They will stay soft for several days if you are careful no to overcook them!

Herb Roasted Pork

This cooks up a very moist and flavorful roast. If you are lucky enough to have leftovers, it is great sliced thin for sandwiches!

German Chocolate Bars

These are really yummy as-is. However, they are more like turtle brownies. To make them actually taste like german chocolate bars, substitute pecans for the walnuts and add 1 cup of coconut. One point of clarification is needed in the recipe... The cake mix is to be used as flour, not made as directed on the box.

Spam Musubi

These are pretty good! My kids and I gobbled them up, but my husband was not impressed. We prefer the spam to be nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mmmm, mmm good.

Authentic Enchiladas Verdes

Beer Batter

This batter cooked up nice and crisp. However, it needs salt!! I added 1 tsp to the batter the second time around and it was MUCH better.

Swedish Nuts II

These are wonderful! Just like the ones you can buy fresh and warm in the mall. I added cinnamon, nutmeg and ground ginger to the egg mixture before adding the nuts. I'll be packaging these for Christmas gifts this year, they are that good!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This recipe is an absolute keeper!! The topping could almost be eaten as a dip for corn chips it is so delicious. I added 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Ihe sauce is a great compliment to the tilapia (though it would work well on any firm white fish). Both my children and my husband asked for seconds!

Elvis Presley Cake

Yummy as-is! However, since I am a die-hard pineapple fan, I either double the pineapple next time or substitute pineapple juice for the water that the boxed cake calls for. I think that will give it a little extra flavor.

Buttercream Icing

Excellent, no-fail buttercream icing. I used it to ice some "themed" cupcakes for a bridal shower recently. I colored it with a couple of drops of food coloring and it turned out beautifully!
