Awesome, amazing, super easy cake! I was looking for a good recipe to make a cake with some Bailey's I had lying around and it was sooo good! I used the recommendations of a previous reviewer who added a rum sauce to theirs and I substituted the Baileys in for the rum. It might have not needed as much sugar as the rum sauce but it really complemented the cake beautifully.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Good butter cookie recipe. I was looking for something a lot lighter. You might want to consider halving the recipe. I did not have any trouble getting it to thicken even though I used a makeshift double boiler- a stainless steel bowl inside a wok of boiling water. Not the safest arrangement but it worked. I loved the lemon but it was a little runny as a filling. Rolling the cookies as thin as possible is key since you still want to have a strong lemon flavor. I ended up using the lemon as more of a dip for the cookies. I wonder if it would be good to add powdered sugar to the lemon and make it more of a light frosting?

Coq Au Vin, My Way

My fiance made this and it turned out really well. Great dish although definitely on the heavy side. It is worth all of the time and effort. Turned out nicely even though we used a really cheap burgundy wine. Also good as leftovers.

Brazilian Bananas

A nice, different dessert. I added crushed pineapple and a little juice instead of the lemon juice. It did seem like it was missing something. It was really good with vanilla ice cream- a tropically banana split. I'd probably make this again and experiment with the ingredients for fun.

African Chicken Stew

I really loved this dish!! Exotic flavor but still a dish most people would enjoy. I think I added too much peanut butter- next time I would cut back and add only 2 tbs and taste. Definitely on the spicy side so you might also want to add that to taste as well. I am making this again soon!

German Style Kielbasa

Surprisingly good mix of flavors. A little on the sweet side so next time I might reduce the sugar but I will probably make this again! My fiance also really liked it and he doesn't usually like sweeter dishes.

Plum Sauce

This plum sauce is perfect for crab rangoons. I couldn't find plum jam so I used canned plums in syrup. I removed the pits and peels and blended them before adding them to the pot. I added extra sugar and it turned out well. It was a little too spicy for me so next time I would add half the amount of pepper.

Crab Rangoon III

Good recipe. I added a dash of Worchester (sp?) sauce for flavor and only added 1 can of crabmeat. It was still a little too crabby for me because I was expecting the flavor of crab rangoons from the restaurants. My fiance thought it had just the right amount of crab. It was great served with the Plum Sauce recipe I also found on allrecipes.

Home-Style Mashed Potatoes

Country Fried Chicken

Good fried chicken recipe. I made these with chicken breasts and they turned out great. They were crispy and moist on the inside but needed a little more seasoning to get 5 stars.

Carne Asada Tacos

Not bad for carne asada made on the stove and not on the grill. I would not recommend making the sauce. It was time consuming and not worth the effort.
