This is phenomenal! I have never liked rhubarb, but agreed to make the pie for my husband's birthday. It looked pretty, so I had a sliver. OMG - it was so good I had to immediately have another piece! Perfect blend of tart and sweet. I followed the filling recipe exactly. The only change I made to the pie was to make a lattice top and I only sprinkled sugar on it, rather than brushing with the egg yolk. I never thought I'd say this - but I love strawberry-rhubarb pie (but only if I make it and use this recipe)! Thanks for sharing! (My husband is particularly thankful for sharing since now he knows he'll get this pie more than once every seven years!)
