Delicious as is. Add any veggies to this, change it around all you want. This dressing is a hit! Dang it though, I didn't have any fresh cilantro.

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce, added smoke

Excellent Cocktail Sauce Al!! How come we can't follow you around and see what else your cooking? I wouldn't change anything on this as it is great just the way it is. However, I am a liquid smoke freak and a half teaspoon (Colgin brand) made all the difference. Thanks for sharing Al!

Fantastic, so tender so good. I didn't have 2 cans of cream of mushroom so used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of onion. Yep, will make again. Thanks for sharing.

Mock Chicken Fried Steak

This was delicious. I didn't have chili powder so used Tabasco Green, also crackers in the mixture and bread crumbs for the topping. I combined recipes with "Country Fried Stack and Milk Gravy" by using their recipe for the gravy. Also because I thought the roux would turn out better, I used butter to fry rather than oil. Perfect for a cold February night in Wisconsin. Thank you for sharing.

Bratwurst, Potato and Cabbage Soup

We know our bratwurst in Wisconsin and this recipe is a definite keeper. I added some liquid smoke and some green tabasco sauce, my 2 new secret ingredients. Loved this soup! Thanks for sharing.

Wisconsin Bratwurst

I am German, I'm also from Wisconsin. This is the best way to make bratwurst. Gotta be fresh, my personal choice is Johnsonville (can I say that?). Thanks for sharing Cody!

Flank Steak with Horseradish Sauce

Marinated for 4 hours it was great. Next time will allow more time for marinate, which really made this piece of meat. Also have used a sauce like this with corn beef, it is excellent!

Nona's Famous Macaroni Salad

Excellent! No changes, just seasonal additions. Chopped zucchini, fresh snap peas, cucumber, green pepper....you are limited by your imagination. I also learned on Cook Illustrated to add seasoning to ingredients and let sit a bit (1/2 hour) before mixing in the mayo. Seasonings absorb better to macaroni, instead of mayo. Thank you for sharing.

"Basic Crepe" excellent flavor! Did add a teaspoon of vanilla. Berries in season with a dollop of whipped cream. Unused batter just as good the next day.

Firefighter's Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie

yes, I'm bad. I made these as they are except for the toffee pieces. I doubled the recipe and also added (per 2 other chocolate chip cookies recipes) 2tablespoons instant espresso and 1 package of vanilla pudding. Soft, chewy and just a little something extra!!

I'm giving 5 stars, wishing there was actually a question and answer on this. I did as recipe stated and they came out small and dense. I halved the recipe so I'm sure it was something I did wrong, so can't give less. I really want them to turn out!
