Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
Family loved this! I rubbed spices on: garlic & onion powder, pepper, salt, italian seasoning, red pepper flakes. filled with root beer and turned it on low and went to bed. The next morining I shredded, discarded most of the juice and added the BBQ sauce. So good! It just melted in your mouth!

Chicken Penne with Asparagus, Sun-dried Tomatoes, and Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I made this and it was delicious! Used chicken broth instead of beef. I had my doubts thinking it would be dry but this was great and came together fast! I added some red pepper flakes and some garlic powder as I always add more spices to what ever I cook!

Chicken Kokkinisto with Orzo

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2012
I really liked this. The things I did different were to use diced can tomatoes and no cloves. Also I did deglaze the pan with some white wine before adding in the tomatoes and chicken stock instead of water. I added some red pepper flakes. The leftovers were even better!

Cappuccino Flats

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I had a mix review from friends and family. The coffee flavor was not strong enough. Maybe using espresso powder would be better. They were pretty though....but I wouldn't make again.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Made them yesterday and worried that they would be too sweet....they are wonderful! Not too sweet at all. I put a rolo in them and I would definitely like to try with other candies. Will definitely be on my XMas Cookie list to make every year.

Family loved! I doubled the sauce, added 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes only because that is all I had and added a whole tomato. spiced up the chicken a bit more and it was awesome over noodles.

Chicken Cotija

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
I liked it. Something different to do with chicken. I also added a few dashes of hot sauce (Tapitio) to the tomato sauce for a bit more flavor. Also added garlic powder to the chicken while browning on top of the stove. Fast and easy.

So GOOD! I was truly amazed how wonderful it was. I did not put the flaked coconut in but toasted coconut and put on top when I served. It was delicious!

Chicken Vegetable Barley Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
I really liked the soup. Thought the potatoes were out of place though. Next time I will make this minus the potatoes (less carbs anyway). I didn't put in the almonds, maybe next time I will try. I always add more spices when I cook as I do like things with more flavor add a bit of a kick.

Pad See Ew (Thai Noodles with Beef and Broccoli)

I was very disappointed. There are other stir-frys on the site that are much better. The oyster sauce was overpowering for me, definitely cut in half as another reviewer had suggested.
