Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

I originally made this recipe as is and thought it was good, but not excellent so 4 stars as the recipe is written. However the 2nd time I followed the suggestions of others and wrapped the chicken with bacon and then coated it with the honey mustard. It was so good! 5 stars with more BACON!

Buttercream Icing

Followed the recipe to a T. Way too sweet for me. I should have made adjustments other reviewers wrote using less sugar. I wish people would stop giving recipes 5 stars after making their changes to it...

Berry Crumb Bars

I followed this recipe exactly and the crumb/crust part was great. I decided to use blackberries instead of raspberries and I think that was a mistake. I didn't like that the seeds were so big and hard to chew. Next time I'll definitely use raspberries or even blueberries.

Michelle's Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

I loved these brownies. I wasn't very good at making them look marbled (a.k.a. pretty), but they sure tasted great. I made the reciped as is, but I agree with some other reviewers that it's totally better the next day. When I make this again, I'm going to make it a day ahead.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

This frosting is soooo good and easy to make. I used it on chocolate cupcakes, but it would be even better on red velvet cake or as the submitter said, with fresh fruit.

Florentine Artichoke Dip

This recipe is absolutely fantastic. I've made it twice now exactly as stated for various parties and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. The lemon juice is essential. I may try adding a few drops of hot sauce just to give it a little kick.

Graham Cracker Crust I

This crust is so easy and delicious that I will never buy a pre-made one again. I made this for the Easy Key Lime Pie I which was tart, so the sweetness of this crust was perfect for it. If I use this again for a sweeter filling, I may use less sugar.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I made this recipe exactly as directed with no modifications and I thought it was wonderful. I used fresh squeezed key limes (boy are my hands sore from those little suckers!) and made my own crust using the Graham Cracker Crust I recipe by Carol (I left out the cinnamon). The pie is tart, but the sweetness of the crust and the whipped cream balance it out beautifully.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Along with everyone else, I too made this for the Super Bowl. It really was fantastic, but I think there are a few things that could be left out and it would still be just as good. The bacon bits, celery, beef bullion and hot sauce are all not essential. Also, while the italian sausage adds a nice and interesting flavor, it adds lot of salt to the recipe so it could be left out if needed. I think pretty much any type of bean would be good with this, so next time I'll try black and kidney to change up the texture.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

I just realized I never reviewed this recipe after I had made it for Thanksgiving last year. This should be a staple in anyone's cookbook. I think the fresh herbs are essential to making this recipe stand out. I made this the night before I put it on my bird so that the flavors would really infuse with the olive oil. I could taste this throughout the entire turkey!

Sugar Cookie Icing

I'm giving this 4 stars only because it was a little tricky getting the right consistency (I followed other reviewers' advice of adding more milk). Once I finally did, it worked great. I ended up dipping my cookies face down into the icing and then used the back of a spoon to smooth out the surface and get rid of any bubbles. I also made a thicker batch for piping, which I will have to continue tinkering and practicing with.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This recipe is simple and tasty. I chilled my dough for about 2 hours and it was very easy to roll and cut. I didn't think these were bland at all by themselves, but they're even better with icing. I will definitely use this again!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

This was simple and tasty and I will definitely make it again. I had french bread and salad with this, but I would definitely put it over white rice or noodles next time. I only used 1 tsp of chili powder since I was worried it might overpower the other flavors. I'm glad I did, but I also enjoyed the kick from the Tapatio I used as the hot sauce.

Lemon-Butter Snow Peas

This actually wasn't bad. I really liked the flavors of the lemon, butter, and Italian seasonings. Next time I don't think I'll cook the snow peas quite as long since they came out a bit soft.

Barbecue Ribs

All I can say about this recipe is that it was perfect. My guest were impressed and the sauce was wonderful. I cooked my ribs in the morning and let them marinate until the evening. Finger licking good!
