Dreamy Nighttime Drink

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
Mmmm... this tastes just like rice pudding. It is a very calming drink. I just estimated the amounts... they can easily be adjusted to suite your own taste. I loved it!

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I have been making these pita's for about two years now. I first got the recipe from my mom who got it from here. I absolutely love this recipe. My husband doesn't really care for the store bought pita's, but he loves these ones. It is such a simple recipe and tastes so great! I make it just as the recipe states! :)

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
This was an absolutely wonderful and fast recipe. My husband who doesn't usually care for Fajitas loved it as well. I really think it is the fact that the chicken is marinated that makes the difference. I thought that everything was perfect in this recipe. The only thing that I did differently was leave out the green peppers because my husband doesn't like them... and I forgot to add the lemon juice at the end... but they still tasted great! We topped them with cheese, salsa, and sour cream. Yum Yum! Thanks for the recipe!

Sauce Rosee

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I really really love this sauce. I do find it very runny so next time I will add some flour to it while it is just the oil and herbs... so that it will thicken it up a bit. I just used 3 TBsp oil as the other reviews said and that was perfect... I also cooked the wine (burgundy cooking wine) a bit before I added the tomato sauce to cook out the alcohol. The taste of this dish is superb! I served it over spiral noodles and added some fried italian sausage after it was cooked! Yum! Yum!

French Herb Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
I have made these numerous times... the loaves come out pretty huge so I usually separate it into 4 loaves instead. I bake them all but we only eat one and I freeze the rest... then when I want to use one for dinner I take it out and let it thaw a bit then I wrap it in tinfoil and bake it in the oven for 15 min. like you would the store-bought garlic bread. Love it!

Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2007
I made these rolls the other day. I had a bit of trouble getting the dough to stick together. I had to add about 3 Tbsp more water to the dough, but then they turned out great! I also added real fried onion to the tops with some cheese when I baked them, and I made them with soy milk instead of regular milk. Me and my husband ate them as sandwiche buns and also for chicken burgers. Mmmm Mmmm! The dough also seamed a little stiff when I shaped them, but they still turned out great! So, don't let that scare you off. Give these a try! They are simple and delicious! :)

Golden Honey Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
I did not enjoy this bread. I am not sure what it was that was wrong... I think it tasted too yeasty or something... but there definetly was a certain taste to it that I did not like. It could just be a personal preference. I was a little dissapointed because it was the first recipe that I made in my bread machine. But, that is the beauty of bread machines, you can just throw another batch in. :) I would say that if you do not like yeasty tasting breads then maybe you should try another recipe.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
My husbands favorite cinnamon roll recipe... I have tried many that he has never quite been satisfied with... but this one he looks forward to eating every time... I half the recipe and make it in a 8x8 pan... then for the frosting I add 3 Tbsp of cream cheese. A 3 oz pckg of cream cheese is equal to 6 Tbsp. One 8 oz pkg. of cream cheese is 1 cup, which is 16 Tbsp.. (each 1/4 cup is 4 Tbsp) so an easy way to measure it is score the block in half... and then in half again... then you have 4-1/4 cup portions... the if you need Tbsps... just score those 1/4 cup portions into 4. This also works for the 1/2 cup cubes of margarine or butter.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
I just made these cookies today and my husband loved them (me too:)). We both love peanut butter cookies, but find that they are usually too dry. These were just perfect because they are nice and chewy. They are a chocolate chip cookie but they have a nice peanut butter flavor.
