Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Very different and original. We talked about how good it was non-stop. The only changes made were I used a crock pot. I like soups that simmer for a while for more infusion of flavors. I did sautee the onion first, but put small cut up pieces of raw chicken in the pot. I pre-cooked a heaping tablespoon of flour in broth to add- to thicken it-because it was a little too soupy for our tastes. Following the other reviewers advice, I just used the green chili's and skipped the jalepeno's and it had the perfect amount of spice., and we do like spicey, Cooked on high 2 hours.

Bagel and Cheese Dip

It was one of those items that NO ONE did NOT like. Every ounce of it was gone by the end of the evening! And how easy can you get.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake II

Excellent desert!! My dinner guests kept asking me "Where did you BUY this from" The recipe makes enough for two pies if you use the ready made crusts in the pans.

Pizza Crust for Bread Machine

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
I found working with the dough very easy. The first time I used a full recipe and it made a very thick crust. The next time I made a half a recipe and got a very thin crust. I think 3/4 a recipe would make the perfect size crust for one pizza.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
I am sure this is a great recipe from all the reviews. The problem I had was I have a small crock pot, so I purchased a 3 lb picnic ham which to my delight fit perfectly in my crock pot. I had no idea how to adjust the time difference so I figured 3-4 hours on low. Apparently it was done in about an hour or two. At 3 1/2 hrs it was brown and tough and in the garbage. So I just wanted to write this to help someone in the same predictament.

Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
Delicious!! So tasty I forgot to add the sour cream. Only changes were I used only shrimp, instead of crab also, which I sauteed in cumin, olive oil, garlic, onion, chili pepper before stuffing the tortillas. I used the monteray jack inside and outside used a Mexican blend of cheese.

Crab Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
we liked it pretty well. I did add some onion and garlic powder to the sauce and stuffing. You couldn't taste the crab that much. I might try using something else in the stuffing next time.

Homemade Wine

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2006
My husband and I tried this as our fun little "Science project" It was kind of fun to watch it go through all the stages. We bought a huge jug and made a gigantic ammount-MISTAKE!! Well it made a great conversation piece. I never had Boone Farm or MD 20/20, but I would immagine the taste is similar. Not worth the time and effort.

The combo of soy sauce & worch. didn't seem very mexican to me. So I marinated my chicken in taco sauce, lime, and cilantro, garlic, hot pepper. Tasted Great.
