About this Cook
Just a normal girl trying to survive in this crazy world! Love to cook, am not afraid to burn things or experiment in the kitchen. Most of my recipes come from me doing just that (experimenting that is...) I am really looking forward to being more interactive with AllRecipes.com & sharing more & actually commenting & trying. Please feel free to share any tips or info! Have a great day!
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta (Im Italian, I have to), I love my Crock pot so I do alot of stews & chilis. I can make anything from scratch... I do love to cook Breakfast the best though. I make some mean hashbrowns (potatoes)... I just really love to cook anything!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well I am the only cook in my house so there isnt so much tradition as there is the need to eat! But I do love big holidays or work get togethers where I get to bring my food for others to eat. I love seeing people enjoy something I created!
My cooking triumphs
I finally figured out how to make the best fried chicken (it isnt fried - its baked)... From several different recipes from here, I came up with my own little methods. Who doesnt love fried chicken, but it is soo bad for you & I finally was able to attain the crisp & not having to fry it.
My cooking tragedies
People tend to tell me I burn scrambled eggs... I cook so many things at once for breakfast that I tend to forget eggs only take a moment! I also tend to have a heavy salt hand & sometimes I tend to make things too salty!

Coconut Macaroons III
I followed the recipe Exactly & they were great, I will try Parchment paper next time as opposed to foil (had a hard time removing them)...and I might try less Milk to cut the sweetness next time, Otherwise they were GREAT!!! Boyfriend Loved them & ate almost the whole batch the first night!

Famous Butter Chicken
So I was online all day yesterday trying to find the perfect NO FRY Fried chicken recipe & I found this one that seemed the easiest. So I went home last night & made it... OH MY!!! It was soo good, I did take several notes from other people, I added flour to the crackers & seasoned everything (chicken, flour, crackers, eggs...thats just me) It was perfect. I did cut back on the butter & I think it would have been better in a smaller pan 8x8 (someone else also noted that but I didnt listen. It was soo moist & crispy at the same time... I would definitely reccommend this recipe! Thanks for sharing!
