Vegetable and Tofu Stir-fry

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
Takes a while to get the sauce (which we doubled) to thicken and also a while to cut up all the veggies. good though!

Turkey with Apple Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
I tried this for thanksgiving. My friend and i have never had a fruit stuffing before, but we both really liked this. The sweet and savory mixed together... The stuffing is the best part. The gravy part of this recipe was bland, also maybe due to the fact that there wasn't much juice from the turkey. The turkey was a bit dry but that may be my fault. But I definitely recommend the stuffing part. It's even good to make on its own!

Strawberry Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
I think i used way more salad greens than it asked for. And i left out the nuts, because we are allergic. But very easy and very tasty. And very sweet.

Irish Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
I made these for a st patrick's day potluck. I doubled the recipe, and added cocoa to the cinnamon. They came out well, although not especially potato-like. I guess you have to use your imagination. I did not like them, but most of the people did. They were very fast and easy but too sweet for me. I won't make again, but i bet others will.

Cranberry Surprise Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I make this every thanksgiving, for years now. It's sweet and tart at the same time, super easy to make, and tastes delicious with some vanilla ice cream! I'll try to remember and take a photo of it next week when I make it again… everyone's looking forward to it… I usually have to make it again the next day after because we can't get enough! :)

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
I made this last nite for my friend's birthday. Most recipies for flourless chocolate cake look really hard, but that's what he wanted...then i found this one! I used a 9 in springform pan, so the 30 min bake time was perfect. I used semisweet chocolate chips instead of squares, but that seemed to work well. I'm not a big flourless cake fan but the birthday guy loved it and so did our other roomie! I reccomend this it was very easy.

Trinidad Pelau

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2006
We didn't like this recipie. I had to use a different type of bean, because i couldnt find this one in our stores, and the beef i used was very bad, so don't take my word as absolute. The recipie might come out better for someone else. I think it could have used some more liquid in it though as well.

This was very good. It's desserty and tasty. It looks runny, but after you refrigerate it, it gets thick. Yummy with butterscotch schnapps.

California Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
This was ok. It needed more sauce. Also, I used the only cajun seasoning my store had, but it wasn't that spicy. Still, if you can add something to make it more saucey and spread the flavor around, it will be good.

Fruit Pizza with White Chocolate

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
This was way too sweet. It was like eating frosting with 10 cups of sugar dumped in. It wasn't bad, but for the effort that you put in, it isn't worth it, and if you don't have a sweet tooth, don't bother. I had a sugar head rush from less than one piece.

Strawberry Pineapple Chicken Bites

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
We ate this as a main dish instead of an appetizer. It served two people with a little left over. It was wonderful, sweet yet spicy at the same time. It makes plenty of sauce, which you can use over side dishes. The veggies and couscous we ate with it tasted great with the sauce! Highly reccomended!
