Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
You cannot find a more delicious, "idiot proof" recipe on this entire site. Have made many times and there are rarely any leftovers. Great with mashed potatoes, rice, and risotto. Usually have either string beans, broccoli or asparagus with this. Awesome recipe!

My first attempt at making jambalaya and it was delicious! Simple, straight forward recipe that can be adjusted to your family's taste and what you have on hand. I didn't use the file powder, cooked my rice separately, used kielbasa instead of andouille, added shrimp the last 10 minutes and put a bottle of hot sauce on the table for those who wanted the extra heat. Thanks for a great recipe! Will certainly be making again.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
Delicious! I added a tsp. of vanilla, used butter for shortening (personal preference) and brown sugar in place of the white for the topping. The cake was finished in less than 24 hours!

Pesto Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
Excellent recipe! I did cut back on the butter - only used 1/4 cup and only used 1 cup of romano cheese. I did saute the mushrooms with the onion and garlic and added the flour to the vegetables to make a roux before adding the milk (used 2%). I also used uncooked shrimp which I added to the pan for a minute just before adding the cream. The shrimp continued cooking in the sauce and they were perfectly done. The sauce was the perfect consistency with no lumps. Next time I will add an additional tomato and maybe some asparagus.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
I have been using this recipes for years for my ribs. I made them yesterday for my daughter's 17th birthday. Her friends always request that I make these when they come over. I bought the ribs at BJ's (3 racks in a package), tripled the recipe adding an equal amount of garlic powder to the rub mix. The ribs always come out perfect - and they were gone in about 10 minutes! Always the sign of a great recipe!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
I am a huge fan of pecan pie and looked forward to creating a different version. THIS is my new recipe! I did not mention to anyone in my family that I was using a different recipe. However, everyone, especially my husband, raved about how much better this pie was. This recipe has wonderful flavor without all of the excess sweetness that corn syrup brings. You won't be disappointed! Thanks, Elaine, for a wonderful recipe!
