I'll cook just about anything, but I especially love to cook soups and stews and other long, slow cooking dishes.

My family loves to barbeque. We'll do it in freezing weather in the snow.
My cooking triumphs
Cheese souffle -- it's easier than you'd think. Home-made bagels -- time consuming, but not too difficult. Home-made puff pastry -- also time consuming and detailed, but very satisfying.
My cooking tragedies
Most recently, turkey mole so salty that not even the dog would eat it.
