Vidalia Onion Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
OMG This was absolutly amazing. I made a few additions, I added chopped red and yellow peppers and a portabella mushroom. Since I did not have enough sour cream I used a mixture of sour cream, ricotta and gorganzola cheese spread. My boyfriend and I ate half of it...now I have to make another one to take to my parents' house so much for halving the recipe.

I have been making this since I was young after finding it in a magazine somewhere. It has been on the menu every year since then. Now my son is the one to make it though.

Chocolate Mice

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
Made these for my sons Halloween party and the kids gobbled them up. Although they did scare one little girl when she happened to open my freezer. I used half nilla wafers and half chocolate animal crackers based on the too chocolatey taste. My coworkers also loved them said they tatse like fudge

I made this while doubling and thickening up the sauce and adding sliced baby bella mushrooms. I served it with mashed potatoes.

Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
I doubled the amount of sausage (I used spicy instead of sweet) and added red, yellow and green peppers and onions when the sausage was almost done browning. Before I added the celery and carrots I pulled half the mixture out to make sandwiches with for tomorrow. I did not add the pasta and used tomato sauce instead of whole tomatoes. Oh so yummy on these cold winter days.

Italian Cream Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
This was a great cake I took it to church for after Mass. Since I go to an Italian church I was hesitant but it was a big hit. One of the ushers wanted to know where I bought it.

Zucchini Alfredo

Made a few changes the second time I made this. Added 4 cloves of garlic and instead of cream cheese used a gorganzola cheese spread that I had it gave it a lot more flavor then the cream cheese did the first time I made it will make it this way from now on.

Salmon in Wine Sauce with Sage

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
This is a very good mild dish made as is. The second time I made it I used lemon pepper instead of black pepper and added pearl onions and sliced mushrooms before baking gave it a lot more flavor.
