Sirloin Steak Dianne

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
I swopped the red for white wine, as that's what I had in, and omitted the dyjon mustard as I am not a fan. Unfortunately this left it a little bland. I will experiment with some different ingredients but will definately be making this again.

Great recipe! I added a clove of garlic and some button mushrooms too. It was delicious and there wasn't a drop left!

Spicy Indian Chicken Curry Yummy

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have any cinnamon sticks but it still tasted great! I added a diced fresh chilli to add a bit more heat and added carrots, mushrooms and spinach to make it a little healthier. Great recipe, thanks.

Proper English Cottage Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
I left out the cinnamon and the cheese and pie crust as these weren't to our taste. I added a handful of chopped mushrooms and a small can of garden peas into the mix. I also added a dash of worcestershire sauce and lots of salt & pepper. The great thing about this recipe is that you can chop and change the ingredients and it still tastes great!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Amazing basic recipe. After reading some of the other reviews (150+) I made a couple of additions. I seasoned and floured the meat and sealed on all sides then added baby carrots and sliced onions. I replaced the water for beef stock and one cup of red wine. I added sliced portobello mushrooms and leeks about three hours before the end. I had to thicken the sauce a little on the stove top but that was to be expected. I got complements all round, thank you for a great recipe.

Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats® Christmas Stars

These are pretty good. I added some melted snickers bars to the mix but other wise followed the recipe exactly. They went down very well with everyone!

Grandma's Potpie

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
This is really good. I put in fresh veggies instead of frozen, personal choice, and I used a frozen pastry mix, as I didn't have time to make one from scratch. I served this for four and there weren't any leftovers.

Roasted Vegetables

This is a great recipe! I'm not a fan of Squash so I substituted it for Parsnips. Tasted fantastic. Thanks for the recipe! Will be making these again for sure.

Scotch Eggs

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
I've been eating these since I was a little girl and them are wonderful, though incredibly bad for you if fried. I've been looking for a great baked recipe and here it is. I added a little pepper to the pork which gave it an added kick. Great recipe, thanks!

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
These were amazing! I made a pizza dough in the bread machine and added diced red and orange peppers to the mix, other than that I didn't change a thing. They went down a treat. I served them with a tomato sauce with added italian seasoning and garlic. Thanks for a great recipe.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
I made these last night and they are amazing. I cut the recipe in half and I added white chocolate chunks and raisins. I also added a drop of water at the end as the mixture was so dense. Had to cook them for 12mins, think that was probably my oven though! They turned out lovely and moist, perfect! Thanks for a great recipe.
