Italian Wedding Cookies III

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
These were good, but mine came out a little dry and some were crumbly. be careful not to use too many dry ingredients vs butter. I've had better, made by others.

Pumpkin Mochi

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I wasn't quit sure what to expect, and this was ok. I had mochiko I wanted to use up and came across this recipe. It's fairly easy to make. I did improvise because I only had a 15 oz can of pumpkin, so I used applesauce with it to make up for the difference. Also, I used oil instead of butter because I didn't have enough of that either. Maybe it would've been better if I had stuck to the original recipe.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
I made this recipe with chicken wings and it was very succulent and delicious. I did make some small changes. I used freshly grated ginger instead of ground ginger. I also used mirin instead of cider vinegar. I reduced the sugar to 1/4C. I hoped to make it with ingredients which would be used in Japan, and I have to say this recipe was a success.

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
Very tasty and so easy to make. My husband and I both liked it. I wasn't sure what type of wine to use, so I made it with chardonnay. May add a little more wine next time for some extra punch. Thanks for the great recipe!
