About this Cook
I'm a mother of 2 and recently became a grandma. I'm a workaholic in a family-owned food related-business. I am a Christian and love mission work and leading our church youth group. I am very organized and frequently plan events and cook for crowds.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook and serve hearty balanced meals, especially for parties and crowds. I am often called the "crockpot queen" and a "soup nazi". I could be considered a "flexitarian" since I rarely eat meat or chicken but enjoy fish occasionally. I have discovered a whole new world of delicious food in vegetarian cooking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Using a potato ricer for mashed potatoes, my bread machine for making doughs and my crockpot for everyday good cookin.
My cooking triumphs
Put my soups up next to Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi" anyday. Ask anyone! My kids rave about my baked mac'n'cheese.
My cooking tragedies
For some reason I always burn grilled cheese! My kids are used to eating it that way with the scorch scraped off and dipped in ketsup. An acquired taste, I'm sure!

Best Bread Machine Bread
My bread machine does not bake well, never has. So I made the dough in the machine then baked in the oven in loaf pan. Delicious. Thanks.
