Delicious! Nothing I would change about this recipe. It was as pretty as it was good!

This was delicious. Served over rice and with broccoli. It was almost like a rice bowl. Will definitely be making again!

Chicken Monterey

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
This was a pretty good recipe, although it tasted similar to a cream of mushroom soup topping covered in cheese that would have been much easier and less expensive. Still tasty, though.

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
A great recipe that we enjoyed very much. Although spicy (adjust to your taste), the crushed red peppers give it the right amount of punch to set it apart from other pasta dishes. In addition, the homemade chicken tenders were a great addition, but if you are short on time, cooking up pre-made chicken tenders tastes good too. We always look forward to having leftovers of this dish!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2006
I really like this recipe, it is so easy too! We usually cook the chicken, then cut it into strips for burritos. But, if you are planning on doing that, I would suggest cutting the chicken up before you cook it, then putting a sprinkle of taco/burrito seasoning on each strip, and covering with salsa. It ensures that every bite of chicken is full of flavor!

Pasta e Fagioli II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2006
This is a great soup. This has been a favorite each time I've made it. Although, one box of pasta is definitely too much. We only use about 1/3 of the box when we make the full recipe and it turns out perfectly.

Wild Rice Casserole I

Great side dish. My husband raved about it. Next time I might use cheddar cheese instead to give it that extra kick. But, I will definitely be making this again.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
This was really good. Hubby doesn't like tomatoes, so I had to make it with regular Feta. Will probably use the Basil Feta next time to add a little more flavor. Made with Wild Rice Casserole (also from this site) and green beans. Yummy!

Angel Chicken Pasta

This was pretty good, but, I did not think it was anything amazing. My husband really liked it, but I didn't think the flavor was any different than our usual chicken dishes.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Very yummy, very flavorful. A great recipe. But, a little too creamy for us. It was hard to eat a complete serving, and made us very full. But, overall I was really impressed.

Baked Havarti Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
Being a relatively new cook, I usually try to stay away from the "gourmet" meals, but this one turned out well. My husband suggested I make it for his parents when they come to visit! Served with rice. Very good, thanks!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
I have made this several times now, and have found two main factors that make the difference between this being a 3* and a 5* meal. 1. Use at least 2 or 3 tortillas thick per layer. Otherwise, it gets soggy and mushy. 2. Let the meat simmer with the sauce at least 30 minutes, otherwise it does not meld together. This is a great recipe all in all, though, and I always look forward to making it. It is also a great freezer-to-oven meal. Simply take it out of the freezer and cook it at 350 for 40-50 minutes, or until bubbly. I always divide a full batch into several 11X7 pans, so I can freeze a couple for future meals. VERY IMPORTANT: I FREEZE IN A FOIL PAN...IF YOU FREEZE IN A GLASS PAN, YOU CAN'T PUT IT STRAIGHT INTO THE OVEN, OR ELSE THE GLASS WILL SHATTER. DEFROST IT FIRST.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2005
The roast is very good, and the gravy is AMAZING! I thicken up the gravy with a little flour. I also use 1 C beef broth and 1/4 C red wine instead of water for a 5 LB cut. It makes it so much more juicy and flavorful than water. I also throw some veggies in there too. My favorite roast recipe!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2005
Very yummy recipe for chicken noodle soup. I do add a lot more carrots and celery than the recipe calls for, since those are key to a good soup. I have made this several times, and freeze leftovers for those "under the weather" days. I was contemplating making this in the crock pot next time, but after letting the soup simmer for a few hours on the stove, the veggies were a little too soft, so I will probably continue (over and over) to make this the traditional way since we like firmer veggies. But, this soup is wonderful!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
Very good recipe. I especially liked the au jus. It was perfect for dipping the sandwich and the fries. In addition, I added provolone cheese and put it in the oven to melt. The cheese tasted great with the meat.
