Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
This was my first time making bread pudding so I was a bit wary as to how it was going to turn out, but it turned out really well! I doubled the recipe and made two, each in a 8" pie pan. I added apples to one and bananas to the other. Each pie pan fit about 3 big dinner rolls cubed. The one with apples I added some nutmeg, and I didn't really like it. But the one with bananas I omitted the nutmeg and also put less vanilla and I found that I liked the flavor of that one a lot more. Overall though it was super easy, and really tasty. I will be using this whenever I have stale bread now, thanks!

Cinnamon Sugar Butter Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
These cookies were unbelievably quick and easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly except I used margarine instead of butter and they tasted great, but didn't spread as much as I wanted them too. I gave them 5 stars anyway though because my friends all loved them and they were so convenient. I will definitely be making these again, thanks!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
Best and easiest sugar cookie I've tried on this site so far. Delicious light flavor, and not too sweet. I used margarine instead of butter and they turned out fine. Rolled in sugar before baking, and they turned out cracked and beautiful. Wonderful recipe :)

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
This was a great, easy, and delicious bread. The sprinkle of oatmeal on the top of the bread made it look so professional and pretty. I also only used half of the packet of oatmeal for the topping and that worked great. The bread was moist, and I added about a cup of chopped apples which it made it even better.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This was a great banana bread, but not the best. I used applesauce instead of butter. It definetely didn't take 60 minutes and by the time it had been in the oven for 45 minutes, it was already a little burnt. The texture was a little gummy-like, but the banana flavor was great, and overall a quick, easy, and yummy bread.
