Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Just came out of the oven and I'm ready to eat them!! A couple of changes to make them my own: 1 cup crisco and 2tsp butter flavor. For the spices- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Soaked raisins to plump. Baked 11 minutes- my oven usually takes a few extra minutes. Just tasted one & its yumm-o-licious!!!

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

OMG!!! #1- it makes ALOT! I wasn't comprehending just how much it made. Passing it around to some friends and neighbors. #2- awesome flavor. used canned chicken, but next time will use the frozen grilled tenders. #3- made the usual changes: olive oil and only 1/3 cup. Didn't use any sesame oil- it's expensive.. and the toasted sesame seeds gave enough flavor there. Can hardly wait for tomorrow when the flavors really get a chance to "mingle". This is a keeper!

Pineapple Filling

Did not use double boiler. Just pot over med low heat. Whisked egg and juice then added pineapple. Stirred that into dry ingredients in pot. Stirred constantly until thick (@15 minutes). Didn't taste right in pot- but used it to fill 2 layer yellow cake. Once frosted and refridgerated- the cake was a hit and the filling was AWESOME!!! So if you don't think it tastes right when you take it off the stove- don't worry! It will be fabulous!! This would be good filling a cake, filling a biscuit or filling a spoon. Might have to make this cake again REAL SOON!!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

I just made these- soooo good! Used Pillsbury super moist devils food cake mix and 1 cup mini choc chips. Baked 10 mintues and they where perfect. Made 41 cookies.

One-Dish Chicken, Vegetable and Rice Bake

SOOO good. Here where my alteration: broth instead of water, a splash of worsteshire sause and I used chicken breat tenderloin strips. I just cut them into bite size peices. So easy, so yummy and healthy!!! A keeper- definately!

My Country Style Steak

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Cake Balls

So awesome! I have tried these in so many variations. Favorite: Devils food cake with dark fudge candy melts. I use Wilton's candy melts for the dip. I also freeze my balls before dipping. I keep a supply in the freezer in case of last minute visitors. I just pull them out and give them a quick dip. Awesome recipe- awesome results!!!! Thank you for sharing this fantsatic recipe.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

It's a great base and doens't need too much more- but it did need a little more. My first mistake was that I just didn't mix it well enough. There were beefy chuncks with no extra flavor and other chuncks with flavor overload. (Obviously this has nothing to do with the recipe- human error) 2nd issue was it was dry. I took it out at 50 minutes. I was a little worried with the grease that was bubbling up, but it was a little too dry. (Ketcup always fixes that!) Anyway- in a perfect world, if I had properly mixed it, my hubby and I wanted to a little extra something. Maybe a few dashes of a dry italian seasonings? But all in all it was good. I loved the cheese in it and the texture. I will modify in the future- but definatley a good working recipe. Thanks!

Hot Chicken Salad Casserole

SOOO Good. Had to make it a little simplier though... Here are my changes: 2 cans tyson chicken breast meat, no water chestnuts, sub 1 can of cream of chicken and mushroom soup for the mushrooms and mayo, 1/2 tsp dried minced onions instead of grated onion. I did chop my celery though..... Great easy recipe that makes the house smell awesome!

Chocolate Pretzels

Easy, tasty and wonderful. I used the new peanut butter kisses and WOW... really good. Am going to try the cherry cordial kisses next. Great easy treat that you can make in large masses. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

Chicken Stuffed Shells

Finally, a stuffed shells recipe WITHOUT cheese! Excellent recipe. I only had one can of chicken broth and that was fine. I used a can of tyson chicken (12oz) instead of a whole chicken and it was fine. Loved in and will definately make again. Thanks!

Chocolate Glaze II

I followed the recipe to a tee and I got an out of this world Chocolate FROSTING, not glaze. I put in on a bundt cake and it looks and tastes marvelous. But beware- it is not a glaze. It is spreadable but not drizzleable.

Peppermint Bars

Supurb! To tame the stickiness, flour your hands real good and mush the dough in the pan. Not to worry, no one will see the flour after baking and the chocolate has melted. These are amazing. My boss just went to 7th heaven after having one. Thank you for this wonderful new treat!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

UPDATE: I have been adding raisons or choc chips recently and the additions are fabulous!! It is simply the best. Stop your search for the perfect bread becasue you have found it. I have been using this recipe for a couple of years now and I have never looked back. I usually make about 12 loaves on a Sat and 12 christmas presents are taken care of! People expect me to make this now because I call it my secret recipe!

Carla's Fruit Dip

To be perfectly honest, you do not need fruit. A spoon and a bowl of this dip will do just fine. It's that good! Thank you. (by the way- it is good with fruit if you have some fruit around.)

Peanut Butter Frosting

Excellent. I followed other reviews and cut sugar in half and made the pb a HEAPING cup full and put in on a chocholate cake. I was very impressed and it will be a staple cake in my recipe box. Thank you for this "oh so good" creation.
