Enchilada Casserole III

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2007
So easy to make and so good. I did cheat and use canned enchilada sauce. If you use canned sauce, you'll probably need at least 20oz. or more. This is a new family favorite!

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
This is the perfect recipe for a cookie press. Oh, they are so delicious. The dough is the perfect consistency every time. The recipe makes so many cookies, but I still need to double it in my house because they disappear so quickly! :o)

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
This is so good! I am a big fan of the canned jellied cranberry sauce, but now I am a convert. Never again will I buy cranberry sauce, I will always make it. This was so easy to make...and SO DELICIOUS! And yes, cranberries do pop when boiled, so put the splatter guard on and let the kids listen. I let them cook longer than 10 minutes just so it would get a little thicker, but after it is cooled it does thicken up more. While they were boiling I gave them a good mash or two with my potato masher and the consistency was perfect. Thank you Toni!

Chocolate Press Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
This is not a cookie press recipe. My 3 year old wanted chocolate cookies from the cookie press and the dough was so thick I didn't even bother trying the press. I just made drop cookies instead. They were delicious, soft, and chewy. Tasted like brownies...Mmmmmmmmmm, but I had to give the recipe 3 stars because there was no way it would work in a cookie press.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
These pork chops are sooooo good! My husband and I just loved the flavor. Our girls, ages 3 and 1 1/2 loved them too! This is surely a staple on my menu. I made some rice and mixed the sauce in it and served it as a side with the chops. Yummy rice, too!

Old Fashioned Paradise Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This is a great pie...easy to make but it looks like a labor intensive dessert! I made this before Thanksgiving for a dinner party to see if it was a keeper for Thanksgiving....OH YES!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
OH MAN! These really are the best brownies! I'll never buy a boxed mix again. I followed the recipe to a T...and they turned out great. I even fooled my mother-in-law...she thought I went to the bakery :o)Ssshhhh, that will be our little secret. To make the icing more spreadable I just zapped it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
My 3 year old daughter wanted to make some star shaped cookies and I found this recipe that easy for her to mix, roll, and cut. They turned out great! We followed the recipe exactly...so easy and quick. However, after the first attempt at rolling and cutting out shapes we dedided to chill the dough for an hour and it was much easier the roll and cut. Happy child...and great cookies...who can ask for more? (o:

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
So Good! I also used honey instead of corn syrup like another reviewer suggested. It turned out great. And since I have no double boiler, I just melted the chocolate in the microwave and then added the remaining ingredients.

Cranberry Upside-Down Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
This cake is delicious and pretty. Great for the holidays...something unique for the holiday gatherings. One tip-put the wrapped springform pan on a cookie sheet to bake because if there is the tiniest hole in the foil you'll have a sticky mess on the bottom of your oven..and a lot of smoke!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2005
Yummy! I did add 4tsp of garlic and since I didn't have bread crumbs handy I used seasoned crutons that my 2-year-old daughter loved turning into crumbs. QUICK EASY YUMMY
