Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole

loved this!..took a loaf of cinnamon raisin and cut slices in half along with maybe 6 slices of a plain french loaf since so many people said their center was soggy...i cut the milk amount to 1 cup and also melted the butter in a sauce pan and added the apples til they softened this made the mixture kinda watery but i think by doing this and cutting down the milk amount the bread was able to really absorb the egg and apple juices over night so that i had no problem with a soggy center

such a nice change from the normal french toast flavor...bananas, pineapple and toasted coconut are wonderful on top of this and then no need for the syrup

delicious!....i used 1 pint of fresh blueberries, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/4 brown....i also did not make the crumb topping but just added 1 tsp cinnamon to the batter--initially i was concern that the batter looked dry but it evened out

i thought this was just ok not as much flavor as i had hoped....you need to remove the meat when reducing the sauce it does not need to be in the sauce the entire time or it will be dried out

everyone i serve this to likes it...easy to make..just make sure you dont over cook it chicken it will be dry.. also marinated it once over night in the honey mustard sauce before i baked it the next day and that def. gave it more flavor

Tropical Grilled Pork Chops

wonderful! worth the effort....i did not have cardamon on hand but used a tsp of allspice instead...also, we did not boil the marinade after the meat had marinated in it i just had my husband baste it a few times while he was grilling it and it worked out well
