Peppermint Snowballs

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
These are the best cookies ever! I couldn't find the peppermint candies needed to make these cookies so I used one box of candy canes and it was the exact amount needed. I also used my Magic Bullet to crush the candy and it worked perfectly! I used the shaker top to sprinkle the candy on top of the iced cookies! MMMM, thank you!

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

I also thought this was dry even with the changes mentioned by other viewers, but it did have great flavor!

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This was just too sweet for my own personal preference. My husband and I are not huge fans of pork chops but my parents are and eat them often so we're always trying new recipes to please both parties. Sadly this tastes just like a sweet pork chop, which did not please, but thanks for sharing!

Pork Chops with Onions and Apples

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I thought this was too simple to be a five-star recipe but it was definitely amazing and the best thing is that it is so easy! We reduced the onion amount but I actually wished I had used a bit more because the caramelized flavor is sooooo good!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
I made these bars using other users recommendations and also a small alteration of my own. I used 3/4 cup of butter and 3/4 cup of peanut butter and since I only had 2 cups of oats I used 1 cup of finely chopped pecans. These bars were so good that they literally disappeared!I think next time I will make sure to pat the crust down more though to prevent them from crumbling and I'll use less peanut butter because they never really hardened. Overall awesome though and I will make again!

My husband and I made this and added about 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts to the topping - yum!

Mom's Best Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
I really liked the flavor and will make these again. The only reason it wasn't a 5 star rating is that I had to use a lot of nonstick cooking spray!

Chicken Lasagna I

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
The minute I found this recipe I was already making a grocery list. Although it sounded great I didn't particularly enjoy this. I made a small pan as I live alone and it was very hard to finish! I won't be making this again simply because I don't know how to improve it to fit my tastes.

Strawberry Refrigerator Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
I have made this frosting before but I only use 2/3 cup of milk. This leaves the frosting with a little bit more of a thick texture. I really liked this cake. The only thing I woulc change next time is poking more holes in the cake. I tried to keep the holes to a minimum because I thought the strawberries would make the cake soggy. Luckily I was wrong but my lack of holes left more strawberries on the sides of the cake rather than on top and in the holes. Overall though this cake was awesome! Light and Refreshing!

Overnight Bubble Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
I made this without the nuts because of the pickier crowd I was serving it to. I felt the pudding mixture was too dry and when it was baked kind of just sat on top of the rolls rather than melted into a syrup like I thought it would. I don't think I would make again although I did like the convenience of using the dinner rolls.
