Garlic Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
I thought it was just okay. I will probably make again, but without the lemon juice. I found it to be pretty tart and odd with the cheese. I did test the broccoli before adding the lemon juice and thought it was very good!

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
I made the recipe as-is and it was delicious! I know a lot of people had issue with cook time and I wonder if it's the type of potatoes you use? My family prefers yukon golds, but they are much softer than a russet. Perhaps that's the difference in cook time!

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
This was very good and I preferred it over the dry mix. I mixed it into a blend of 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 plain greek yogurt for a tasty dip. It didn't taste exactly like the dry ranch dip but it was very good!

Easy Butternut Squash Ravioli

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
I was expecting something very delicious and what I got was a mushy ravioli with literally no type of sauce to it. I improvised and used a bit of a creamy tomato sauce, but I couldn't save the mushy raviolis. We ate it but only because there was nothing else! Thanks for posting, but it wasn't for me!

Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
These were too rich for me. They also need to be eaten immediately because the butter hardens as they cool and the buns have an interesting texture.

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
I made this cake in a 13x9" pan and made some slits in it before pouring the icing over the top. OH MY GOSH!!! You must do this! Make slits or poke holes before icing allows the chocolatey goodness soaks into the cake which makes it even more moist, gooey, and delicious!

Mexican Cornbread Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2013
I cooked up some crispt bacon instead of using bacon bits and it was fantastic. This is the third recipe for Cornbreat Salad that I've made and it is now THE recipe that I will use. Thank you!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2013
I used a spring form pan per the recommendations of other users and it turned out amazing! After running an edge around the outside of the pan, I removed the outside of the pan and the pie was beautiful! Great presentation! The taste was equally as impressive and I'm already thinking about when I can make it again! Thanks for sharing Debbi! I made no changes to the recipe because it's perfect as-is.

Roast Beef Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
I really enjoyed this recipe but did slightly alter it. My grocer's deli roast beef was $10 per pound so I decided to use ground beef instead. I also used 2 packets of the lower sodium gravy mix. I browned the ground beef with seasonings and onion, added the prepared gravy and filled the cooked shells before topping with cheese and baking. This was delicious and my kids and I gobbled it up! I added a vegetable side dish to this for some nutritional value, but it wouldn't be difficult to hide diced carrots and other vegetables in the ground beef mixture!

Caprese Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2013
This was fantastic! I wouldn't change a thing and I couldn't stop eating it! I used about 3/4 of a 2 cup bag of shredded mozzarella and 5 big leaves of basil. I think the only thing I may do next time (if I have more time) is make homemade pastry because it is so much better than store-bought!

Delicious! I used sesame oil for the added flavor and did everything else the same. The insides melted in my mouth!

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
I was looking for a change-of-pace pancake and stumbled upon this one. I loved how moist these pancakes were - they were more like a flat banana bread than a pancake. My 12 months old could eat these without anything on them because they were that moist and I loved that! We tried syrup and peanut butter and these were good with both. Next time I might try a honey-peanut butter syrup over them! Yum!

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2012
This was pretty good and I would make again based mainly on the fact that you don't have to boil the noodles! This was very easy and tasty. I am sure you could make a few at a time and freeze them for some easy weeknight meals during the cold winter months.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I made this tonight with a few alterations to fit our tastes. I purchased a rotisserie chicken because I was short on time and used all the breast meat, which I cubed per the recipe. I used the 1 cup of carrots, 1 cup frozen green peas, and substituted 1/2 cup frozen corn for the celery since we don't care for it. Since the chicken was already cooked, I diced the carrot and also diced up a sweet potato and roasted them in the oven at 425 for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, I diced a whole yellow onion and sauteed it in cooking spray with Italian seasoning, minced fresh garlic, and minced fresh basil. I then added 2 cups of chicken broth after the onions were tender as well as 3/4 cup milk, and the flour, salt, and pepper per the recipe. I ended up adding cornstarch to thicken the sauce since I added additional liquid. Then I followed the recipe as specified. My husband, who does not particularly go out of his way to eat a chicken pot pie, found this dinner to be delicious and went back for second!

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
I didn't really care for the pecans in this which is odd because I usually enjoy the combination of apples and nuts. The cobbler part was also more cakey than I prefer, but thanks for sharing!
