Peach Berry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2015
I made this recipe as written and it's fantastic! I used 5 fresh peaches to equal 3 cups.

Dried Cherry Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2015
I made this cake in a 9" spring form pan and got rave reviews from my coworkers! I personally thought it was just okay so I'm reviewing based on my own preference. Please note, if you use the 9" spring form pan you should adjust the cooking time. I cooked mine for 5 less minutes than the recipe called for. If I make again I might try different fruits and nuts! I might even use plain greek yogurt or sour cream.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2015
I made the recipe as-is and it tasted pretty good. I don't think anyone was overly impressed. It was really more like strawberry soup than a pie. Still, it tasted fresh and the homemade whipped cream made it a tasty finish to an Easter meal.

Cherry Cheese Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2015
I used homemade whipped cream, made with almond and vanilla extract, instead of the whipped topping. I ended up having about 1 cup of cheese filling that didn't fit into the pan, but it was so tasty that I have no doubt we'll eat it! The lightness of this pie with the crunchiness of a homemade crust was the perfect dessert! I will definitely make again and with different pie fillings.

Graham Cracker Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2015
This is delicious as is, but I like to add 1/8 tsp of cinnamon to the mixture if I feel like it'll compliment the pie.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2015
I was skeptical of this pie setting up given he 5-8 minute bake time, but it was perfect! I'm still amazed at how good it was and with such ease! I made a homemade graham cracker crust and added a touch of cinnamon to it. I highly recommend doing this!

Deliciosa Salsa Verde

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
This was really great! I added minced garlic to the mix because I felt that's what I needed, but it was also good without!

Texican Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
This was delicious, even with the differences I had to make because I didn't have the full amount of some ingredients! I only had 1/2 pound of cheese, but it was still good. I can't wait to try it will full cheese! I also wasn't sure how heavy my squash was as I only used one very large squash from my garden? No corn chips? No problem! I used crushed tortilla chips and pita chips!

Basil Peach Pepper Parmesan Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2014
I really enjoyed the addition of fresh basil, and the parmesan was nice as well. I'm not so sure about the pepper though. I suspect the grind on my pepper mill was set too course because some bites were quite potent with black pepper!

Tater Tot Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2014
I used the big can of enchilada sauce because we love it and I also browned the meat with the onion and the garlic. We used pinto beans because we prefer them. Everything was delicious! Also, if you happen to be near a Target store, check out their Archer Farms brand Southwest seasoning! It's got a great chipotle flavor that made this a little more special!

Garlic Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
I thought it was just okay. I will probably make again, but without the lemon juice. I found it to be pretty tart and odd with the cheese. I did test the broccoli before adding the lemon juice and thought it was very good!

Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
I made the recipe as-is and it was delicious! I know a lot of people had issue with cook time and I wonder if it's the type of potatoes you use? My family prefers yukon golds, but they are much softer than a russet. Perhaps that's the difference in cook time!

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
This was very good and I preferred it over the dry mix. I mixed it into a blend of 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 plain greek yogurt for a tasty dip. It didn't taste exactly like the dry ranch dip but it was very good!

Easy Butternut Squash Ravioli

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
I was expecting something very delicious and what I got was a mushy ravioli with literally no type of sauce to it. I improvised and used a bit of a creamy tomato sauce, but I couldn't save the mushy raviolis. We ate it but only because there was nothing else! Thanks for posting, but it wasn't for me!

Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
These were too rich for me. They also need to be eaten immediately because the butter hardens as they cool and the buns have an interesting texture.

Chocolate Cherry Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
I made this cake in a 13x9" pan and made some slits in it before pouring the icing over the top. OH MY GOSH!!! You must do this! Make slits or poke holes before icing allows the chocolatey goodness soaks into the cake which makes it even more moist, gooey, and delicious!
