Make Ahead French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
The smell of it cooking brought people wandering out of bed, wrapped in blankets like some corny coffee commercial. Fantastic but I didn't listen to other reviewers about flipping it midway or cutting back on the milk. I like my french toast a bit firmer but this was VERY good. We will make it again, just a little tweaked.

My new favorite recipe. I like more garlic in mine though. My 2 year old will wrestle you to the ground for these biscuits.

Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
I am a fiend for these cookies, hese really are the best I've ever eaten! Even people that said they normally don't like this kind of cookie kept coming back for more. Made the recipe exactly as stated. I used my big stand mixer with the paddle and chopped the walnuts very finely, as suggested by previous reviews.

This was devoured even by the people that say they don't like cake. The coffee gives it that added boost of flavor.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2007
My first quiche and it was fantastic! I did have to bake an extra 10 minutes but that could just be the electric stove (do you ever get used to one of these?). I used a ready made pie crust and I think it took away from the flavor. Next time I will make my own. I also used onion powder instead and it added a much better flavor. I think this is going to be one of those dishes that will evolve into so much more over the years. Can't wait to try it with ham as some other reviews have suggested!

These came out great! I sprinkled the top with sugar and walnuts and used an egg replacer to make them vegan friendly. Got rave reviews!

Very good. My one year old and my vegan husband both like it. I love that I can sneak carrots in and they eat it anyway.

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
I really liked this I made this vegan by using Nucoa margerine and EnerG Egg replacer and no one even noticed. I left it on the stove to cool aand went to bed. By morning 3/4 of the bread was gone. Seems the whole house loves it.

Canned Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
I was amazed at how good this is. And so super easy. I substituted the green beans for corn and added a can of green chile. I like to throw corn chips on top before serving. People are resistant at first but once they try it they love it!

Made this and even the non-vegans had more than one piece. Next time I may drizzle with raspberry sauce.

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2005
This is a quick and easy to make, delicious treat! You will ALWAYS be asked for the recipe. A huge hit at potlucks and an easy crowd pleaser to bring when you're short on time and still want to wow them. I use the graham cracker dipping stix and it tastes just like pumpkin pie.
