About this Cook
I love to cook but I'm still in the beginner stages.
My favorite things to cook
Indian, Mexican, anything with Garlic and fresh Rosemary
My favorite family cooking traditions
The old cliche of cookies at Christmas, I'm afraid.
My cooking triumphs
I make a garlic bread that people fight over.
My cooking tragedies
Vegan dishes can be pretty bad when you mess them up or even when you get them right.

Make Ahead French Toast
The smell of it cooking brought people wandering out of bed, wrapped in blankets like some corny coffee commercial. Fantastic but I didn't listen to other reviewers about flipping it midway or cutting back on the milk. I like my french toast a bit firmer but this was VERY good. We will make it again, just a little tweaked.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits
My new favorite recipe. I like more garlic in mine though. My 2 year old will wrestle you to the ground for these biscuits.

Russian Tea Cakes I
I am a fiend for these cookies, hese really are the best I've ever eaten! Even people that said they normally don't like this kind of cookie kept coming back for more. Made the recipe exactly as stated. I used my big stand mixer with the paddle and chopped the walnuts very finely, as suggested by previous reviews.
