Wilted Lettuce

have eaten wilted lettuce my entire life but I've never prepared it myself....This turned out wonderful.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Venison Mostaccioli Casserole

I've made this recipe at least 6 times since I found it on-line. I used Venison the first time but now use ground combo Beef/Pork . Wonderful.

Southern Pecan Pie II

This reminded me of my gramma's Apple Butter from the 50's. Everyone loved it and after giving out small containers of it today I will have to make another batch next week. I chopped apples and started cooking at 9 Pm went to bed and it was done by morning. I Puree'd the cooked mixture and then cooked for the extra hour. Wonderful. I wished I had the recipe last fall when the apples were picked.

Snickerdoodle Bars

I made a batch but doctored it up a bit because the reviews were less than likeable. I added sugar to the topping, cinnamon to the cookie batter then topped it with finely shredded coconut. I like the idea of a bar because it is so much faster. Will keep checking back on this to see if anyone else tried my trick!! goodluck

Enchilada Sauce

I doubled this with the chicken broth I had in freezer from chicken I boiled a month ago for another enchilada dinner.. This recipe surpasses any enchilada sauce I've ever purchased. Hooray for a great Basic Recipe.
