Baked Italian Lemon Chicken

My family loved it! A couple of minor changes: I soaked the chicken in cold salt water for about 45 minutes. I also cut the butter to 3T, and I pounded the chicken until in was very thin. I only cooked for 15 minutes and then broiled for 3 to give it color.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

I put on top of a chocolate cake recipe I found here called Too Much Chocolate. I also used the cooking spray on the spoon for the corn syrup and made it in the microwave.

Lion House Wassail

My favoite recipe so far. I did not have the allspice berries or the whole cloves on hand so I substitued 2 tblspn of pumpkin pie spice. It tasted wonderful. Oh, I also put a shot of spiced rum in it sometimes!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

While I loved the cookie the first time, I changed just a couple of things the second time: I love pumpkin taste so I added a whole can of pumpkin and doubled the "pumpkin type spices." I added chocolate chips to the last half of the batter. YUM! I added cinnamon to the icing.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Absolutely wonderful! It was so easy and everyone loved it. I did double the recipe and put in a 13x9 pan. I also made it the night before and cooked it in the morning so it would be easier. I am going to bring it to work now.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

Wonderful recipe. We cooked them on the grill & then brought in and put just blue cheese on them & put under broiler. I did use a strainer to separate the actual sauce from the thyme.

Hot Buttered Rum Batter

I thought that it was very very messy if you have company. We have a self serve bar and this stuff was very gooey. It tasted good, but not for everyone.

Whipped Cream Frosting

I thought it tasted very good, but the consistency was too runny for cupcakes. I had to pitch it & open canned frosting. Maybe this would be good for a filling.
