Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
Was nothing to write home about, but wasn't bad either. Was easy to make, but not a favorite.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
I LOVE roasted chicken, and have my share of recipes I use on a rotational basis so as not to get bored of the same flavors...but this recipe, by far, is THE BEST ROASTED CHICKEN I HAVE EVER MADE! I changed it up a bit from the original recipe based on other reviewers...I added about a half inch of white wine (I used a Pinot Grigio) to the bottom of the pan, and I added celery salt generously over the whole chicken and omitted the onion salt and added garlic powder. A favorite from this day forth!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
Didn't have muffin pan, just used a regular pan. Could shape or roll into balls, too goopy, but just spooned gobs onto the pan and still came out great! Put the PBCups in the freezer before pressing into cookies, then put cookes in fridge for the candy to harden again (they did melt and became quite gooey). After the cookies and PBcup cooled they were awesome!

Kati Rose's Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
Made this for a Christmas day appetizer and came out great! Bought a little bit more walnuts than recipe called for and shaped into a log instead of a ball...seemed to make more sense since other people said the ball came out quite large. Added some of the ham I made for the dinner and omitted olives. Wonderful!!!

Green Beans with Almonds

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
Bravo! Incorporating the bacon took the bitterness out of the beans without having to dredge them in butter. My husband LOVED this, and he is not a vegetable eater. Will make over and over!

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2006
This was good, but not exceptional. I followed recipe as-is, and although it looked wonderful, it did not measure up to my expectations, especially after the rave reviews I read. Definately worth trying, though!

The Best Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
Forgot to toast the English Muffins first and used store-bought taco-blend shredded cheese instead of smoked, but still came out great. Looking over the ingredients, I thought the cheese would be a pronounced flavor, but wasn't...in fact none of the ingredients took center statge...they all seemed to mingle together to create a unique combination of flavors and textures...well done, and easier to make than I anticipated!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2006
Tastey, etc., etc., but,a little dry...Noone else has mentioned this so it may have been something I did...still, I'd make them again-only next time with a something other than the store-bought generic BBQ sauce and I won't boil for a full hour...

Classic Baked Mostaccioli

This is your basic Italian-American dish.. red sauce, pasta, & cheese baked on top. I would add a more sauce as it was a dry, but otherwise good. Will make again for comfort food!!

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2005
Texture was thicker than I expected, but very very good. It took an additional 10 minutes in oven to brown and start bubbling around the sides. I put mixture in a round corningware dish so this may be the reason. Big hit at the Christmas party I brought this to!

Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2005
I've never made pork chops with apple before. It was very flavorful. I am generally not too keen on eating any fruit that is incorporated into a recipe but the apples smothered over the pork chops made this dish excellent!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2005
I didn't use freshly grated cheese but still came out amazing. Rich, flavorful, creamy...the best alfredo sauce I've ever had or made. The nutmeg addition gave a wonderful flavor.
