Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: May 8, 2014
Made this recipe as is and it was awesome! Next time I might reduce the amount of sugar topping as it was a bit to much for me.

Fluffy Biscuits

Excellent, my go to recipe for biscuits. The fluffiest with the perfect amount of sweetness.

Strawberry Vanilla Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
Very tasty, made the recipe as is. Remember standard rules of pancakes: do not overmix and let stand a few minutes before cooking to allow baking powder to puff up. Also, its usually better to add the fruit to the pancake after it is poured on the pan, it is much less soggy that way.

Sweetly Stewed Rhubarb

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2011
Very tasty with the addition of cinnamon, though it is definately too sweet. Used 2 1/2 cups of sugar and found it to be to much, will try again and use next time. This is really good over cheap vanilla ice cream (for some reason I think the cheap stuff tastes better with rhubarb!)

Honeybee Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Really nice cookies, very easy to make and perfect for when you dont have many ingredients on hand! I poped my dough in the fridge for about 10 min while the oven preheated and they were perfect.

Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
This crust tasted really good and was very easy to make, but it fell apart when I cut out the slices. Had to eat the pizza with a knife and fork.

New York Rye Bread

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
This bread did not come out well at all. It formed a ball in one side of the breat machine, I think it might be better with more water as suggested by other people. May try it again as the flavour and texture was OK

Very good soup, loved by all. Even pureed the leftover for my 7 month old son and he loves it! Very easy and very tasty as is!

These are the all time best brownies! Instead of chocolate chips I chop up good quality chocolate.

Chocolate Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
This fudge never set for me - I did everything the other reviewers said - measured the evaporated milk, beat for about 30mins, but it never lost its gloss. I give it two stars because is tastes reallly good even though it didnt work out for me.

Lemon Vinaigrette Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Loved this! I made no changes, the lemon and dill are perfect. I made this for an all lemon dinner party and it was a hit! Definately go for the boston lettuce if you can, it doesn't wilt as quickly with the dressing on it.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
I did not like this recipe at all. I made no changes to the recipe, but I did mash the beans. I think it would be much better without the sugar. I don't think I'll try it again.

Grandma's Crispy Pork Wontons

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
Pretty good, it seems like it's missing something though, kind of bland. This recipe worked well both fried and in soup. I only used about 1/2 of the filling for one package of wonton wrappers so I'd cut the recipe in half next time.

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
REALLY good! New family favourite! I made it again at my mothers and instead of the cream of chicken soup used cream of mushroom, used leeks instead of onions, and added some of my moms homemade canned tomatoes and it was even better! Only lasts 2 days in my house.

Creamy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2005
It was good, but not excellent. I even fried the hashbrowns first with the green onions, but still it needed more flavour. Not really worth the calories!
