About this Cook
I am married and have an incredibly wonderful daughter who is in the picture with me. Other than that, I love movies, love to read and I'm looking forward to learning from all you foodies out there, so......Happy Cooking!!! =0)
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely love to prepare food any number of ways but more importantly, I love to eat it! Although I'm a health conscious foodie, I don't mind baking sinful, shameless desserts for the ones I love, or even acquaintances.
My cooking triumphs
I created a dessert which, according to my step-daughter, is "the most incredible dessert she's ever had!" I haven't named it and I'd like to "tweek" it to perfection before I do so. Stay tuned.... :0)
My cooking tragedies
Fortunately, none that I can remember, unless you count the rare incident when I burnt the bread?!?! =l

Chicken Diane Style
This was a big hit with everyone in my home, guests included! I sautéed the onions and mushrooms in a little olive oil and about a Tbsp. of butter. I also seasoned them with garlic salt. I followed the rest of the directions pretty much to a T, except that I put the lid on when I simmered the chicken. The sauce is absolutely wonderful!!! I served it with Trader Joe's Brown Rice Medley which is a combination of brown rice, black barley and radish seeds. Perfect!!!

Chocolate Trifle
My daughter and friend insisted that I give this dessert 5 stars. My husband called it decadent and it was an all around big hit! The preparation was easy enough for anyone to make :O)

Easter Breakfast Casserole
This is the best breakfast casserole I've had. My family loved it. It's a great "Leftover" food as well!
