About this Cook
I have been a real estate consultant in Seattle since June 1999 and have a 2.5 year old daughter. When I have free time (which isn't as often as I'd like) I am cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love to grill and use my slow cooker but my favorite is my smoker. I'll cook anything in my smoker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Family B-B-Qs
My cooking triumphs
For christmas breakfast I made the Finnish Pulla I found on allrecipes.com and is was a big hit. It looked beautiful. Since then I have perfected pulled pork sandwiches, pork and beef ribs and have moved on the the bad boy BRISKET.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to bake scones once and we could have played hockey with them.

Thai Red Chicken Curry
I took most of the peoples advise and doubled the amount of curry. WOW!! I love spicy spicy food but this was too much. The only thing I could think of doing to cut the spice was to keep adding chicken stock and turn it into a soup. At least it didn't go to waste.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast
We thought this was great. I was very suprised. I used a boneless turkey breast from Costco and it came with a gravey packet. I just mixed the gravey packet in with the drippings.

Ginger Steak
Nice flavor. Maybe a little less ginger next time.
