Easy Herb Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
This turkey was delicious! I read the reviews and followed a couple of different suggestions. I added butter to the recipe. I cut 6 pats of butter from a stick and soaked them in the olive oil mixture and then shoved them under the turkey skin. Not suggested but something I did was put apple slices in the cavity for aromatics. I used paprika to fake tan the turkey. The last 15 mins or so I rubbed the turkey with butter, sprinkled it with paprika and left it uncovered. It came out wonderfully moist and tender. In the end I used the juice with some pepper and flour to make gravy!

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I loved these! Only thing I changed was using a pouch of Au Jus instead of the broth and water. WHen I made the Au Jus I added 2T of flour to the gravy powder first to make it thick. YUM!!

Scim's Fettucine Alfredo with Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
I loved this recipe. I din't change much. I used twice the amount of shrimp because I knew my son would be picking them out and eating them. I diced the mushrooms to very small pieces b/c I love the flavor but hate the texture and then I sauted them for a bit with the shrimp. I also added garlic powder to the sauce. Served with a Romaine salad and garlic bread and it was delicious...

Sorta Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
My family loved these. I have made them about 5-6 times now and just forgot to come back and review. I gave it four stars because it's a great starter but needs flavor. I did add seasoning to the flour before I dredged the steaks in it. I added pepper, garlic powder, and seasoned salt. I also made the gravy the proper way (on the stovetop with drippings) rather than have a lumpy mess at the end. I served this with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Also good with sweet white rice. YUM. Sounds like dinner for tonite!
