Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
Wow, first time cooking with quinoa. This was amazing and healthy. I used 1 can of beans, I could see using another if you are needed more filling, but if not great with 1 can.

Whole Grain Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2006
Excellent healthy muffin! Very chewy and soft texture. I used a 6oz container of blueberry yogurt and it came out wondurful, I'll make again and try using a different flaver of yogurt but blueberry was good. Also pecans added right into the batter was good as well. Great recipe!

Marinated Flank Steak

Wow, I live in Houston, so I know what good mexican food tastes like, and this tasted just like, if not better than resturant fajitas. So juicy, awesome marinade!

Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Raisin

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
Great recipe! I 1/2'd the recipe, but still used a whole bananna, so if I was gonna go with the regular recipe, I'd use 2 bananas. Also didn't use rasins. Definetly use parchment paper, they come out much nicer!

Tasty Buckwheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
Good simple base recipe. I used 1/2 buckwheat and half whole wheat flours, used regular sugar instead of honey, coconut oil for the oil, and added a dash of salt. Came out nicely. I think I'll use the honey next time and add some ground almonds too.

Cilantro Egg Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
Wow this is awesome. Only thing I did different was I used onions instead of the mushrooms and used less mayo, prolly 1/2 a cup or possibly even 1/4. Tastes so good, especially if you like cilantro

Awesome recipe. You can pretty much do whatever you want with it. I added pumpkin seeds and whole almonds, and I eat mine with orange juice, it's so good with orange juice. I like it with milk and oat milk also. I eat it for breakfast everyday, sometimes lunch and even dinner too.

Honey Wheat Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
I really liked these, mainly for the fact that it's so good for you. I did add 1/2 oatmeal and a bananna, and used the wheat germ instead. Next time I'm gonna add just a little sugar if I want them more sweet, but I think you could eat these for breakfast really. Great recipe
