Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
These were very good cookies. They had more of a bread/muffin consistency than a normal cookie. Everyone enjoyed them.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
Nice basic recipe. Was very easy but I thought it lacked some flavor. I had a lot of topping left over. Also I baked mine for only 15 minutes and I thought that was still a little too long. 12 minutes would have been enough (I used standard size muffin tins not the jumbo ones).

Everyone loved these cookies but mine came out flat :( People still seemed to enjoy them though and I guess that is all that matters!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
This was ok at best. I followed other's suggestions and used pulled meats instead. I also followed other's suggestions and bought the pulled meats in BBQ sauce and did NOT add anymore BBQ sauce. Well, I think this made the whole stew taste like BBQ sauce and was not very good. It tasted like it belonged on a sandwich not like a "stew" at all. It was overwhelming with BBQ flavor despite not adding anymore. Waste of ingredients as far as I'm concerned.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2006
The amount of sugar in this recipe made the sauce W A Y too sweet. I had to more than double the amount of tomato in the sauce in order for it to be edible. It still was a little too sweet for my taste even after that. Also when making the meatballs only 1 egg is needed, not 2.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2006
This is pretty good. I, like the others, used shredded chicken instead of canned chicken. I halfed the recipe and it still made quite a bit. If I make it again I'll probably change a few things to see if I can improve on it.

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
This was an ok recipe. I sauteed the chicken in the soy sauce instead of rubbing the chicken with it. Like others, I doubled the water and added a little bit more soy suace to make the sauce a little thinner. After this it did taste JUST like the restaurant. BUT it tastes better with the REAL chicken satay, not so much with this. Give it try if you're looking for something different in the diet.

Chocolate Mousse II

Over all decent recipe. Although, the end consistancy of the mousse isn't what I expected at all.

Whoopie Pies VI

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
This recipe was ok. The cookie part didnt have a lot of flavor and only stay moist for a little while after they are out of the oven. Also they only take 7-8 minutes to bake completely, even that gives them a little crunch to the bottom. The filling had really good flavor but was a little runny, my tops kept sliding off.

Crab Stuffed Haddock

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
This was good! I would definitely use a maine crab meat (a sweeter meat) instead of blue crab. Also be sure to really pat the fish dry before stuffing and baking or you'll end up with a pan of water.
