Easy Sugar Cookies

My niece made a batch of these cookies for Labor Day and every one is still raving over them. We did double the vanilla and baked the cookies for exactly 9 minutes. She iced and decorated them after cooling and they were the only thing NOT left over at the picnic. The were soft and chewy even after cooling. We will definitely make again.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Excellent! I made two of these pie for Thanksgiving. I replaced the spices, except the cinnamon, with 2 tsp of Pumpkin Pie spice. As someone suggested I did add 1/2c of light brown sugar and a touch of honey. Your best bet is to taste the batter (I know a bad thing with raw eggs!) and if in your opinion it needs something...add it. Everyone raved over my pies, not a bite went to waste, and it has been requested that I make two more for Christmas.

Never-Fail Pecan Pie

Perfect. I did add 1 Tbsp of bourbon and used light corn syrup instead of dark. Added 1 tbsp of flour for cutting consistency. It just had the most amazing taste. A keeper in my book!

Gingerbread Frosting for Cookies

AMAZING! I added the 1 TBSP of Butter (creamed) and it turned out to be the perfect spreading consistency for Gingerbread... not cookies...Gingerbread cake. When I took a bite of the gingerbread cake with this frosting it was like a spice explosion in my mouth! My husband said "You ARE making more of these for Christmas!" This icing would also be excellent on sugar cookies.

Yummy Pineapple Beef Steak Marinade

I think this is great! Quick & Simple. I did add a little minced garlic and some crushed black pepper to it. I thought my steak turned out great.
